On tap in BWI. red/gold clear pour, minimal head, no real lacing. Sweet, malty, clean finish. Not bad, maybe too sweet for it to be a session beer for me. snoworsummer (6071) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUL 17, 2014
Draft at Obrycki’s BWI. Pours clear reddish copper with a thin, off white head. Tastes malty, light sweetness, some toasted caramel, smooth light hops. Ligh body and low carbonation. Smells like malt, light caramel, light hops. sonnycheeba (6342) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUL 17, 2014
Tap at Obrycki’s in BWI. Pours clear copper/amber with thin, off-white head. Aroma is cereal malts, light caramel, faint fig, and some floral notes. Flavor is malty with some light caramel sweetness, light hop bitterness, and faint toast; dry finish. Light/medium body and medium carbonation. oteyj (2138) - New Hampshire, USA - APR 6, 2012
On tap at BWI. Light straw pour with a great foamy white head. Delicious caramel sweetness and lemony bread with no off grain ir husky notes. Medium body with high residual sweetness for the style. This would have gone amazingly well with the crab cakes I ordered if I didn’t pound it so fast. dlovell2 (2291) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - JUL 16, 2011
Had this beer 4th of July Weekend at Obrycki’s. Golden color with white head. Light malt flavor with slight hop finish. This beer was just ok for me and pretty much lost in spice on the delicious crabs. The first time I toured the Clipper City Brewery Hugh Sisson described how an IPA is the best pairing for crabs because it cuts through the spice. I wish I could have ordered a Loose Canon.

Draft from the Obrycki’s in Fells Point. Poured a golden-yellow color with a large white head. Aroma is slightly skunky with pale malts and spices. Taste has pale malts and some grainy flavors. Nothing special, but it came with some decent crabcakes. coolpop (1394) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - JAN 8, 2011
Draft. Poured golden with a white head. Mild malt, slight hop edge, a bit of fruitiness. desurfer (1302) - Melbourne, Florida, USA - OCT 25, 2010
Tasted at Obrycki’s at BWI. Forgettable beer but a decent crabcake. Seemed like a run-of-the-mill lager to me. DocLock (11049) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 9, 2010
Draft at Craft for Heavy Seas event. Pours gold w white head. Nose is pale malt, hopcitrus. Tastes crisp, with grainy hopcitric pale malt, slight fruit, and a smooth finish. Jow (4087) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAY 2, 2010
My 100th beer rated. Had at Obrycki’s crab house obviously. A pale lager with not a ton of depth. But certainly bright and refreshing enough to cut through the crazy seasonining on the pile of blue crabs in front of me.
