UPDATED: MAR 23, 2012 From tank at the brewery 20091014 Fantastic black currant aroma. Dark mahogany. Butterscotch, coffee black. Nice body, this was the best bevarage at the brewery this time, even better then the porters!

Cask @ Bishops Arms, Malmö. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted mmalty nutty caramel aroma. Roasted malty chocolate and caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish with some hints of caramel in the aftertaste.

ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAY 12, 2009
Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Pours out in a dark brown colour with a creamy beige foam. Rich roasty aroma of nuts, fudge, raisins, anise and dark bread. Medium-bodied with really well-blended flavours of roasted malts, raisins, fudge, mild spices, and licorice. Long dryish chocolaty finish. As always; Ocean on cask is superb.

Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 14, 2009
On tap. Clear, warm reddish brown with a tall, dense shaving foam style off-white head. Roasted and lightly smoky malt aroma. Medium body, lightly roasted and lightly sweet malt accents - again with a vague smoky edge. The finish is dry. 260309

larsniclas (7075) - Billdal, SWEDEN - APR 4, 2009
Draught at Bishops Arms, Järntorget, Gothenburg Dark brown/amber. Creamy off-white head. Dark butter-scotch and milky chocolate in the aroma. Some leather and barnyard in the flavour. Slightly smoked with a dry, slightly papery, bitterness.

ekstedt (6782) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 30, 2009
Draught at Bishops Arms, Järtorget, Göteborg, Sweden. Dark copper, medium off-white head. Light-roasted nutty malt aroma with some dark fruits, along with spicy and earthy hops. Light in body, soft carbonation. Dry with a long bitter finish. Perhaps too bitter to be called a mild, but highly drinkable.

finol (3389) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 29, 2009
Cask at Akkurat. Dark redbrown with a small compact head. Lots of rosted malts, has a little sweetness and finishes bitter. Very smooth mouth feel.

Clear dark red to black color, smallish tan head. Hoppy and fruity taste with some nice caramelly malt. Malty caramel scent with some nice toffee notes. Medium to spritzy mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Fruity aftertaste.

Svesse (8601) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - MAR 28, 2009
(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 27 March 2009) Dark brown colour with ruby hints. Creamy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of caramel, toffee, chocolate and dark rye bread. Malty, roasted taste with caramel, chocolate, toffee, wild berries and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Nice and tasty mild.

omhper (25132) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAR 16, 2009
cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Dark mahogany colour. Mld butterscotch and coffee up front. Chewy solid body, wonderfolly edgeless Chocolatey with a light soapiness wrapped around a caramelly backbone. Balanced late bitterness. It’s hard to beat a well made cask mild in top shape like this one. Incredibly moreish!
