Mörk och snabbt läggande skum. Smak som är en kombination av gammalt askfat och karamell. En öl som smakar bakfylla. Njut av Ebbot på skiva istället!

Maltig doft och obefintlig humle. Klassisk ale. Välgjord men samtidigt medioker. Passade bra till råbiff. Fint som fan

0.5l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a clear nutty-brown one with a medium sized off-white top. It smells light peppery-spicy. Some cardboard, sweet caramel and yeast hints. Also traces of chocolate paper. It’s average carbonated and it has a thin watery mouthfeel. Hmm.. More cardboard in the taste. Lot’s of thin watery chocolate paper, some dusty hay, chestnuts and some light burned caramel. Quite a spicy peppery aftertaste on this puppy. Not a great or memorable beer imo, but it’s more than enough to call drinkable. 05.01.2012

50 cl bottle from systembolaget göteborg. Pours clear amber with a large creamy light brown head that stays for a long time. Aroma of bread with some citrus notes. light sweetness, light bitterness, light sourness. A bit hoppy finish. ok but a bit boring.

Flaska 50 cl. Mörk brunröd öl, med svagt vitt skum. Dofter av toffee, choklad och päron. Fin liten beska möter en viss fruktighet, smörkola och röda bär. Jatack, jag tar gärna en till.

Aroma: Smelling faintly of toffee, honey and pears.
Appearance: The beer is dark copper hued, has an off-white small head, some lacing. Small curtains.
Taste: Sweet bread with syrup, grass and ripe apples, bitter apple seeds.
Palate: Low carbonation, fresh and smooth feeling, a medium body and a dry smooth finish.
Overall: A very nice honest real ale!
Note: Cask at De Klomp. Reviewed 2012-11-01.

Bottle big thanks to Matt. Fresh laundry, ripe blackcurrant, red apple chocolate and oatmeal aroma: that’s an 8, easy. Dark ruby with a loose but persistent beige foam. Excellent juicy blackcurrant Ribena and hedgerow notes over solid husk, chocolatey and digestive malts. Really tasty; in fact, the best Swedish beer I’ve tasted to date.
