Ocean bryggeriet Ebbot Ale +++++ mörk, fyllig, ton av choklad, men ändå läskande. Trevlig flaska från bra Göteborgs bryggeri.

(Bottle) Pours orange brown with a creamy, pale nougat colored head. The aroma holds holds caramelly, nutty and cookie-like malt alongside spicy and floral hops. Undertones of wet stone, shellfish, sweet oranges and strawberry/wild strawberries. The flavour light sweet to dry, light to medium bitter and tiny acidic. Robust malty, mild hoppy and a little fruity. The mouthfeel is soft, creamy and clean with a light to medium carbonation. Well balanced finish of earthy/floral/spicy hops and nutty/earthy/light toffee/dry cookie-like malt. Medium bodied. Tasty and flavorful. Wonderful fragrance. A little carbonic acid. Not at all strong in flavor but tasty nonetheless. Long aftertaste. This beer I’m impressed of. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Bottle big thanks to Matt. Fresh laundry, ripe blackcurrant, red apple chocolate and oatmeal aroma: that’s an 8, easy. Dark ruby with a loose but persistent beige foam. Excellent juicy blackcurrant Ribena and hedgerow notes over solid husk, chocolatey and digestive malts. Really tasty; in fact, the best Swedish beer I’ve tasted to date. 500 ml bottle at Lompa Friluft, Oslo. ABV is 5.0%. Beautiful reddish brown, colour, low off-white head. Moderate malty aroma with toast and a hint of chocolate. Soft mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. Lovely flavour, well balanced between the malts (brown bread, toast, lightly roasted notes of chocolate and coffee) and hops (elderflowers, grapefruit, pine). Smooth to drink.
