Bottle from Nordstans systembolag. Slightly misty, light brown. A lightly aggressiv fragrance. A deeep and very malty bitterness. Flavor of oak and brown sugar but without apparent sweetness.Very dominant, works well on its own or with spicy or very greasy food. olsvammel (7220) - Örebro, SWEDEN - NOV 9, 2009
UPDATED: JUN 18, 2010 It poured a hazy orange-golden liquid with a small white head. The lacing on the side of the glass looked very similar to the one on Dugges.Smell: Mostly smells of caramel, also some hops but not allot. Some burned toast and a hint of butter. Taste: First impression is that this is a much milder brew, the flavours are allot more subtle. Some caramel and burned toast, a hint of flowery hops. This one feels very British in style. Fairly clean and crisp, which unfortunately makes it feel a bit boring. Mouthfeel: Very smooth with a thick body and little to no carbonation. Very easy to drink, the kind of beer you pour down by the pint.

Bottle at Man in the Moon.
If you expect an american IPA then you might be disappointed, this more lika an english IPA.
Malty, caramel and some smoke. Not bad and not brilliant. baggio (337) - norrtälje, SWEDEN - SEP 20, 2009

Apperance: Hazy yellow with a small white head and lots of lacing.
Aroma: Caramel, Herbs, Bitter hops, Citric notes.
Flavor: Caramel, Roasted malt, Herbs, Citric notes, Pine, Hay.
Palate: Herbal hops mixed togheter with a solid malt backbone makes this brew quite balanced with some extra bitterness at the end. Carbonation is quite low.
A very english type of IPA but a very drinkable one. Nice!
Cask at The Bishop’s Arms, Malmö, Sweden. Hazy deep golden colour with small white head. Fruity hoppy aroma. Bitter hoppy flavour, somewhat tea-like. Long-lasting bitter aftertaste. hirigalzkar (3133) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 6, 2009
Bottle. British style IPA. Nice ballance of malt and hops. A bit boring though. sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - AUG 7, 2009
(Bottled) Hazy amber with a smallish, firm and lacy head. Lots of citrusy-aromatic hops in the nose. Citrusy-hoppy, flowery-lavendery flavor with birch leaves, but not that much bitterness. Light to medium body, medium carbonation. A refreshing and aromatic brew, true to the British IPA style. Some hop bitterness wouldn’t have spoiled this, though. sebletitje (10067) - Enghien, BELGIUM - JUN 29, 2009
sample at the brewery, of the tank.
Shared with Gnoff.
pours clear golden, light white head.
Aroma and taste, plenty of hops, floral notes with some citrus elements.
Really can start telling that Thomas brewerd in Ireland, and has a good influence of the British style beers. Ygberg (143) - SWEDEN - JUN 27, 2009
UPDATED: AUG 15, 2009 Aroma of yeast, a bit frowzy. Yellow and clowdy appearance. The taste is very bitter and a bit sharp. This is maybe the most bitter swedish IPA I’ve tried, it is however missing the fruitiness of the better IPA:s. A good beer i recommend.
