UPDATED: AUG 15, 2009 Aroma of yeast, a bit frowzy. Yellow and clowdy appearance. The taste is very bitter and a bit sharp. This is maybe the most bitter swedish IPA I’ve tried, it is however missing the fruitiness of the better IPA:s. A good beer i recommend. LanceUppercut (139) - SWEDEN - JUN 26, 2009
It sure looks and smells nice, with notes of flowery hops and cucumber. Taste is also of cucumber, citrus, but any present esters is quickly extinguished by a rought, non-complex bitterness. This is quite a good beer when properly chilled, but its too uninteresting too reach the higher grades. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUN 21, 2009

(thanks gnoff!) Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is fruity, flowery and a bit caramelly. Flavour is grassy, fruity and flowery hops in a rather nice balance. Very pleasant. Flowery and grassy finish.
Body is light amber colour. Has a woody and little smoky aroma and flavor. Also some flowers and hops. Little malty. Quite dry aftertaste. Scauca (490) - Lovere, ITALY - APR 30, 2009
Bottle @ the brewery. Light amber with a huge tan head. Very malty with the clear and a bit overwhelming Cascade presence. Nice dryness, a bit rough bitterness.

(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, on 2009-04-11) Amber and hazy. Dense and lightly tan coloured head. Bread and frutiness in aroma. Medium bodied and dry palate with medium carbonation. Malts, yeast, sweetnes, some grass, bittterness and fruitiness in taste. Bitter and sweet aftertaste. honkensponken (11) - SWEDEN - MAR 27, 2009
Draft. Nice golden colour with small white head. Good combination of bitterness and hops but nothing that really stands out. I could drink this all day and enjoy it, but wouldn’t travel to find it. TEJA (3345) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 6, 2009
On cask at Oliver Twist. Clear golden color. Dry wood aroma from English hops. Good English IPA with a tiny sweetness. Moderate bitterness and a dry hop taste with a big body. Ljunkan (530) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - FEB 20, 2009
UPDATED: SEP 20, 2009 On tap at Bishops Arms, Karlstad. Amber color with a mediumsized white head leaving some lacing. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, grass, caramel and some smoke. Flavour is quite bitter but also a bit of sweet caramel malts. There’s notes of grapefruit and grass with a quite dry, bitter finish. Slightly smokey too. Quite filling mouthfeel (probably because it’s on tap) with a soft carbonation. A drinkable IPA, but not one of the better I’ve had. The smokiness which I’ve heard should be quite common in Oceans beers doesn’t really fit in. charlotte (5461) - rødovre, DENMARK - JAN 16, 2009
Clear amber colour with small white head.Aroma is bitter of greapefruits and fresh hoppy.Feels well balanced and nice malty with a little dry finish.
