Pours hazy golden yellow with a small creamy head. Aromas of caramel, citrus fruits, grapefruit and grass. The taste is light with a maly taste of grass and caramel. Rough bitterness.
Tap @ Bishops Arms Skövde. Pours clear amber wuth a small off white head leaving lace. Aroma is piny, hoppy, malty, and some caramel. Flavor is fruity, aceton, malty and bitter. Finishes fruity bitter.
Neeskens (328) - SWEDEN - AUG 19, 2011
50cl Bottle. Clear amber with a medium off-white head. English in style with a caramel malt, flowers, grass and oatmeal cookies in both aroma and taste. Medium bitter ending that last quite long. Aniela (4215) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 7, 2011
From a draught at Bishop Arms in Skövde. Amber, a small white head. Hoppy a bit bitter.
POLK (2219) - Hørning, DENMARK - JUL 3, 2011
An English inspired IPA from a Swedish brewery located in Gothenburg. This IPA is relatively weak, but his English bitter hops are however reasonably faithful to the original style, despite they having spent the American Cascade hops as a flavoring hop.
rebella (39) - SWEDEN - JUN 1, 2011
Light amber/orange pour. White head that disappears fast.
Aroma of hops, apricots and citrus.
The aftertaste is bitter and OK. kermis (14963) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - MAY 26, 2011
Pours light hazy amber with large head. Floral hoppy aroma with a slight malt flavor and mild hop bitterness. A little thin and uninteresting. TheJestersBeer (2431) - SWEDEN - APR 25, 2011
Pours a clear light amber, with a thin, fast receding head.
The nose is pretty straightforward, quite malty, some yeast, and a decent dose of hops. Fruity aromas like apricots and citrus, as well as some corn, and a slightly unclean element (burnt? smoke? phenolic?).
Dry, medium bodied, quite high bitterness, low, almost cask-like, CO2.
The taste is dominated by malt and fruits, such as apricots and oranges, quite hoppy. The yeasty, corny, and unclean elements reappear, and make the beer finish on a somewhat unbalanced note, and with a growing sweet sensation.
A decent tipple, more British than American stylewise, but lacks the complexity and hop punch that the style prescribes. (2011-04-25)
Mad_Ferret (1028) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - APR 24, 2011
Tap. Clear bright amber with a short dirt white head. Few lacings.
Very flowery nose with a light caramel maltiness, grapefruit, Peach, cookie, some butter and a whiff of smoke.
Taste is flowery and sweet malty. Grapefruit, cookie, caramel, pineapple, some passionfruit. Grassy piny bitterness.
Medium body, small lively bubbles.
Very refreshing session beer. Feels more like an APA than an english IPA to me though.
