On tap at the Bull & Bear, Stockholm. Clear amber beer, tidy cream coloured head. Palate is smooth and fairly dry. Fine carbonation. Sweetish dry malt with mild caramel and a notable unsweet bubblegum ester. Hops are fairly light and somewhat noble like in their taste. Finishes semi dry with a malty aftertaste. Okay but tastes like an ESB.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Deep amber. Spicy English style hop aroma. Sweet with rounded malt underneath a blanket of spicy, mustardy hops. Resiny finish with long bitterness The mouthfeel may be a bit syrupy, but otherwise it’s a really good, hoppy English style cask ale. Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 30, 2008
