Bottle shared in London - I bought this one...somewhere...then aged it a few years. Pours deep black with a creamy, beige head. The nose holds well roasted malts, cocoa, dark fruits, raisins. Medium to big sweet flavour, with nicely rounded chocolate character, scorched earth, burnt marshmallow, toffee. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more cocoa, ripe fruits, berries, raisins. Really nicely rounded. Good depth. Great stuff.

Cask @ Bishops Arms, Hornsgatan. Black with a small beige head, some lacing. Pretty sweet aroma, chocolate and licorice. Thick and silky almost no carbonation, really smooth mouthfeel. Rich licorice and chocolate taste, the alcohol is well hidden. Sweet fudge, ash and mild rosted coffee notes . Sweet finish aswell without beeing gooey.

Flaska från SB. Svart med tunnt beiget skum. Sötsyrligt rostat kaffe, rågbröd, surdeg och kola i doften. Mellantung kropp, inleds fylligt men tunnas ut rätt snabbt. Smakar lakrits, starkt kaffe med lite syra i bakgrunden. Torra, mörkrostade toner. Gott med sött till!

500 ml bottle from Systembolaget. Pitch-black with a small mocha head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee and "julmust?" Taste reflects the aroma, but something strange happens with the aftertaste. Medium bodied. Medium bitterness. And medium carbonation.

mzaar (3552) - Varberg, SWEDEN - DEC 3, 2015
Flaska. Svart öl med ett moccafärgat skum. Dofter av choklad, aska och rostad malt. Smakinslag av rostad malt, choklad, torkad frukt och aska. Torr avslutning.

Skinnyviking (9643) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 2, 2015
Draught at Malmø Craft Beer Festival 2015. High creamy and lasting light brown head. Pitch black body. Spicy alcohol dominated roasted malt aroma. Flavor less alcohol dominated but the beer has a creamy roaasted malt coffee liquorice flavor with a suitable amount of hops bitterness, a low carbonation and a long finish.
