bread, hay, floral, grass, licorice, frothy, umami, creamy, soft carbonation, long finish. This is the bottle version, not as excellent as the draught version.

Stark und milchig mit einem Schuss an Kondensmilch und Zucker. Daneben ein wenig im Kaffee, einigen Roestmalzen und einer belebenden Perlung. Gute Sache.

McTapps (6889) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - SEP 5, 2015
Bottle from Nisse666, many thanks. The beer has got a deep black colour with a small head and smooth body. Aroma of roasted malt, barley, dark bread and chocolate. Taste of intense, roasted malt, barley, dark bread, toast, dark fruits and cake. Very quaffable and warming, enjoyed it.

Totaly black, clear beer with a three finger high, dark brownbeige head. Lacing stays on the glass when the head sinks down. Nose: Roasted sweet malt, dark chocolate, licorice, pumpernickel, dried fruit, hazelnut and vanilla. Great nose! Taste: Dark, roasted malt, dark chocolate, fudge, licorice, ash, coffee ground, red fruit and some vanilla. Body: Medium to full body. Great texture and bitterness. A perfect sweetness matches the bitterness. Medium carbonated. The 9% ABV is very well hidden. A really GREAT beer!

ramboraffe (2254) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 8, 2015
On tap at the Bishops Arms Järntorget, Göteborg. Black with off white head. Smell is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and dried fruit. Taste is big malty at start followed by roasted malt, coffee and chocolate.

neongolden (1640) - Linköping, Sweden/Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 18, 2015
(Bottle sample @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Feb 13 2015) Pours black with an average beige head. Aroma of chocolate and some surprising banana esters dominating a bit of licorice and light malt roast, and I think some other fruit behind the banana. On the palate, again like bananas dipped in dark chocolate, quite sweet. Some roasted malts and coffee join in the middle, as it becomes slightly drier but still fruity. Coffee bitterness on the finish offsets sweetness. Medium-full bodied but too highly carbonated, with a bit of alcohol heat. I found the banana esters really distracting, not awful but drew all my attention. Overwhelmed any hopping. A little poorly balanced and rough.
