Flaske fra bestillingsutvalg systembolaget. Mørk/svart farge, beige skum. En ganske lettdrikkelig porter.smaker mildt brent røstet malt, lakris, brød, tre. En veldig fornøyelig og lettdrikkelig porter

[5/5/13] Bottle at my hostel room in Copenhagen. Thanks Nisse666. Black-colored with a light brown head. Pretty boozt aroma, roasty and coffee-ish with some dark fruits. Sweet malty flavor with dark chocolate, some roastinesss, some coffee and nutty notes and a drier and slightly alcoholic finish. Medium to full-bodied, a bit over-carbonated. Decent but not great.

500mL bottle, courtesy of Nisse666 (thanks Tomas), pours black with a medium brown head. Aroma of slight slices, with cinnamon and cocoa, and moderate roast. Flavour brings out vanilla beans, cinnamon, and medium roasted malt. Very cinnamon and vanilla dominated. No hint of the ABV at all. Very smooth and easily drinkable. Great stuff.

Lite rökig men ändå elegant. Inget att klaga på direkt. Kul att se var den kommer ta vägen med lite lagring

Bottle at home. A porter right up my alley! Wonderful gentle touch of coffee and chocolate with a nice cream and hints of dried fruits and some licorice. The 9% ABV is very well hidden.

Linnet (1890) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - MAR 9, 2013
Ar: soy sauce, coffee, ash, roastiness, alcohol, woody, smokey, earthy hops, slightly floral finish. Ap: black colour, big Brown head, lacing. F: rich, chocolatey, tart, roastiness, smoke, coffee, ash, alcohol, sour and warming finish. The sourness to this beer is a bit offputting, all other flavours are rich and rewarding. M: silky Smooth and full bodied. T: without the sour elements to it, this would have been a slam dunk.
