Mörk, välkryddat och juligt. En trevlig ny bekantskap. AlbertC (277) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 4, 2011
Aroma is flowers, christmas spices. Taste is balanced; caramel, malts, coffee, menthol, spicy and cream. Some hops kicks in at the end with the menthol building up into a very fresh finish. Good with greasy christmas food. LoFi (1714) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 1, 2011
Bottle. Has a casky look. The head is small and quickly fades into a mist on the surface and a porous ring around the glass. The colour is dark copper. Aroma: very fruity with some butterscotch and perhaps licorice. Taste: a soft maltiness, oranges, dried fruits, hard candies, and a medium bitterness (grapefruit and grass) that grows towards the end. The mouthfeel also feels a bit like hand pumped: smooth with a slight carbonation, a bit flat. A nice English style winter warmer. olsvammel (7216) - Örebro, SWEDEN - DEC 19, 2010
Served on cask at Akkurat (Stockholm). It poured a hazy dark amber liquid with a brown tint and a medium sized dirty white head. Faint smell, but I spotted some fruits. Taste of sweet malts, some spices, fruits, burned toast. Fairly mild overall. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium thick body. Nice and easy to drink. Could have used a bit more flavour though. fonefan (48579) - VestJylland, DENMARK - APR 5, 2010

Pours dark chestnut with a small, creamy, off-white head. Becomes a thin film rather fast. Aroma is spicy, piney, light smoke and a lot of juniper berries, light chocolate, roasted malts and light cardboard. Medium carbonation, okay mouthfeel. Flavour has light smoke, milky chocolate, roasted malts that dominate in the finish.
Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Clear reddish brown with a smallish off-white head. Medium body, sweet roasted malts, some dried fruits, berry-like notes and a whiff of smoke. Perhaps a touch of licorice as well. Some perfumy hoppiness comes late leaving some bitterness also. Interesting. 020210 Furseth (2159) - Kungälv, SWEDEN - DEC 27, 2009
