Clear reddish/copper with a small head. Aroma and taste of malt, some fruit, caramel, bread and some light notes of berries. The body was light and the aftertaste was short. An ok one. rarbring (2294) - Linköping, SWEDEN - APR 6, 2014

Appearance: A ruby amber brew, a small off-white head, with large bubbles, little lacing and small curtains.
Taste: Sweet dark bread, red slightly sour fruits, lemon peel.
Palate: Little carbonation, soft and smooth, a medium body, a long nice dry finish.
Overall: This was a real ale, and was very fresh. A nice experience.
Note: Cask at De Klomp. Reviewed 2012-04-04.
Backlog. On tap at Green Lion Inn. Dominated by caramel and dried fruits, one of the better interpretations i’ve had. Theydon_Bois (19494) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 1, 2014
Keg as ’Tullens Red’ at Ölstugan 1892 Tullen Andra Lång , Goteborg, 21/03/14.
Reddish amber with a moderate light beige head.
Nose is biscuit malt, light hops, caramel, pinch of spice, berry fruit, light perfumed notes.
Taste comprises caramel, berry fruit, light hops, pertty simple stuff.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Ok for style I guess but ultimately in the bland and boring camp. jmgreenuk (9449) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - MAR 20, 2014
Tap at The Bishops Arms Järntorget (Göteborg). Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a thin white head and lots of broken lace. The aroma is citrus hop light metallic. The flavour is medium bitter with a fresh dry pepper spice hop palate with some light fruit. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. I’m not a fan of red ales but this had a nice hop spice kick. It’s one of the few red ales in the world that I would order again.
