Jonte (1496) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - AUG 3, 2011
On-tap. The Old Beefeater Inn Göteborg. Golden yellow colour with a white head. Woody, herbal, slightly citrusy notes, a bit astringent. Rather high bitterness. Bitter and dry finish.

TheJestersBeer (2431) - SWEDEN - AUG 1, 2011
Draught. Pours a medium amber, white head. Very fruity, floral aromas, with lots of citrusy hops, some malt, slightly yeasty. Almost fry, medium body, high bitterness, quite high CO2. Fruity and hoppy taste, apricots, grapefruit, yeast, and a faint note of earth. Very good one, highly drinkable thanks to low ABV for an IPA, and pretty clean on the palate. Among the better I,ve tried from this brewery. (2011-07-27)

Draught at 3 små Rum, Göteborg, on July 14, 2011
Clear deep golden color, medium off-white head. Malty sweet and fruity hoppy scent, some esters, balanced. Malty, herbal, bitter taste. Lingering dry prickly bitterness in the aftertaste. Taste is not as balanced as the scent. Big focus on bitterness, too much for my taste. Medium to moussy mouthfeel, high to very high dry and a bit harsh bitterness.
It’s not a hop bomb really, but the big focus on bitterness takes some drinkabilty away for me. If you like dry bitter beers I think you’ll enjoy this one.
If I could take away a chunk of bitterness, and also add some more hops for taste, it would be great.
