Had at at Tap That in Oceanside. Was told from Travis there that this won gold medal at San Diego int. Brew Fest. I know why! This brew is fantastic. Crisp spruce, cedar, grass aroma! Crystal clear! Big white frothy head. Up front huge big peppery hops, Note, this was an extremely pleasurably first sip as it did have the usual over the top tar burn hop oil, that becomes too distracting. This grew was pure freshness. Believe it or not I could have had a dozen if it weren’t fir the 9.4%. A must have!

Aroma: citrus, pines and notes of honey. Taste: pine is dominant and intensive, but balanced well by citrus, fruits and malty sweetness. Strong bitter aftertaste

Butelka. Piękna bursztynowa barwa, klarowna. Praktycznie bez piany. Aromat ananasa, brzoskwini, marakui. Bardzo przyjemny, intensywny aromat. W smaku zdecydowanie gorzej, mało owoców. Alkohol dobrze ukryty. Goryczka średnia, niezalegajaca. Wysycenie w kierunku wysokiego.

Po ogrzaniu wychodzi w aromacie lekką nutą alkoholowa. Data ważności do 13.06.2017 r.

Tap at Takanoya. Huge tropical fruit nose, pineapple, passion fruit, durian, lichi. Sweet and juicy, hard to believe there is no added juice. Tasty, though a bit over the top with the juiciness.

22oz bottle 3/10/17 (Binny’s Montgomery)-38° in Snifter My bottle says 9.4%-Pours a murky orange amber with a small white head. Aroma of hops and malt. Taste of the same with a bit of alcohol. This medium to full bodied brew is not bad.

mcberko (18389) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 12, 2017
On tap at Oceanside Ale Works, pours a cloudy orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out resinous hops upfront, followed by toasted biscuity malt. Flavour is aggressive, with resinous hops, some pine and biscuity malt. Rather abrasive but it works well enough. Solid.

Bottle at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Fruity hoppy aroma with citrus, lots of orange, tangerine, candied fruits, lots of pine resin. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and above medium bitter. Body is medium with low carbonation. Nice IIPA, lots of pine resin and fruity orange hops.

Draft @ the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy pale amber color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty harsh hoppy bitter grapefruit aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter citrus flavor. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy bitter finish with hints of caramel.

SDalkoholic (2395) - Linda Vista, California, USA - NOV 28, 2016
Aluminum can from Wal-mart: Appeared a dull golden blonde hue with thick lather of foam head. Aroma is decked with hops with a pinch of spiciness while an offensive whiff of onion lurks in the distant background of my nose. Drink is bitter with a taste of spiced hops that suggest citrus fruit and peel while also having a wheat malt drop.

3.5
JorisPPattyn (10061) - BELGIUM - NOV 16, 2016
Copperish amber beer with a medium, dense yellowish head, shards of lace. Grapey hops, bit of sweat, garden herbs. Quite bitter flavour, but also very fruity (citrus, grapefruit, watermelon,...) Rather severe bitterness, vegetal. Hopoils obtain astringency, not very well-bodied. Alcohol is well-hidden, but for a backthroat sweetness and a delayed punch. Typical Westcoast - brute force prevails on refinement.
