Draught at the brewpub. Vkear copper beer with a nice offwhite head. Malty fruity aroma, caramel, rye bread, oranges, some floral notes. Malty fruity flavor, rye bread, hay notes, some grapes. Marheb (6030) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 20, 2016
(En fût à la brasserie): Une bonne base caramel avec distorsion herbacée, épicée et définitivement en contraste avec la rondeur maltée. La finale goûte un peu les pruneaux dans l’alcool. Lowandslow1972 (12) - Carlsbad, California, USA - AUG 29, 2015
Kinda like their blond with color. Some malts but very meh. God session brew but not a rich as I would like. Summer ok but go for something not as sweet. Not my fav. DedicatedToFun (4000) - Santa Monica, California, USA - MAR 1, 2015

One of few ambers I like. Not much hops which is good concentrate on malts as this does. Not session but not a barn burner either. Great drinking brew with caramel aftertaste. Best on tap. slowrunner77 (12591) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 25, 2014
"This comes across as a pretty typical american red/amber. Nutty toffee malts and a dash of grapefruit hops. Not enough going on to distinguish itself, and the aroma was pretty weak."

Pours a reddish amber with a small off white head with a little lacing. Aroma is of toasted malts, caramel, sweet malts, and some light grassy hops. Taste is about the same as the aroma with the addition of some light pine and toffee notes. Has a medium body with a slightly creamy mouthfeel and a slightly bitter, medium finish. Overall, a decent, somewhat tasty amber ale. Barreras (1689) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - SEP 21, 2013
Pours a copper color with a light malt aroma. Taste is mild sweet caramel, with a malt flavor. A clean smooth amber beer with a no aftertaste. JohnnyJ (5569) - San Diego, California, USA - APR 14, 2012
Draft at the brewery. Reddish amber, slight haze and small off white head. Caramel malts, a bit sweet, light bread, and light to medium citrus hop bitterness. Thin body. Pretty boring like most ambers.
