Bottle, Wine Warehouse. Pours murky brown with an off-white head. Aroma is trash water, light spice. Flavor is wheat, funk, clove (enough to bitter the tongue), light bitter caramel, brown leaves. Grainy, bland, and overall though not a bad flavor, not great by any means. And the aroma is off-putting. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - OCT 5, 2015
Bottle:   Spritzy wheatiness, a little dank and dirty, some basement, touch of clove like spices.
Has a slight metallic background towards the end.   Not real heavy, a little light in fact.   Spices need
to be more varied as all I get is a bit of clove and maybe a hint of nutmeg.   A muted example, needs to be
brighter. Luvystypotables (2067) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - OCT 31, 2014
Weak aroma of spice without any head. Amber color no head, taste of water and spice with a weak spice finish. markwise (5450) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - OCT 1, 2014
On draft at O’Connor. Pours a deep brown with an off-white head. Nose is pumpkin pie spice, ripe banana, pepper, and a hint of cinnamon. Flavor is similar with lots of dunkelweizen banana and esters mixed with some pie spices. Interesting and an unusual take on pumpkin pie ale. Nice choice of base beer. Light to medium in body and pretty good overall. TheBeerGod (6261) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - SEP 27, 2014
Draft at O’Connor. Cloudy copper (not unlike the color of a worn penny) with a short tan head. Aroma is soft pumpkin spices and toasted wheat. Taste is more dunkel than pumpkin. Lots of wheat and yeast with toasted malt, bread and light pumpkin spices. Body is light-medium with a soft bubbly carbonation. Ends with more wheat, yeast, light banana, bread and soft pumpkin spices.

On tap at Y-not, Chesapeake, VA. Muddy brown pour with a thin beige head. Aroma of light pumpkin pie spice, faint ripe banana, and light citrus. Citrus hits the tongue upfront and is followed by pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. Decent. tia (2228) - Sandston, Virginia, USA - JAN 11, 2013
Tap. Hazy brown with thin head and light lacing. It does smell like spiced cooked pumpkin- maybe a little bourbony. Flavor follows- hint of banana, slightly grainy. Medium bodied. Travlr (26065) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 25, 2012
Draft. Murky dark brown color, thick beige head, solid lacing. Aroma of multiple spices. Taste has more gourd than spice - a rare and cherished thing. Gotta like that high pumpkin to nutmeg ratio. Light body. Tasty. Braudog (6833) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - NOV 4, 2012
Draft at Public House. Interesting beer. Fall-colored, and adorned with the promised pumpkin flavoring. Exceptionally light, a nice alternative to so many heavy autumn brews. (#4814, 11/3/2012) obguthr (6653) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - OCT 5, 2012
UPDATED: NOV 4, 2012 Allspice and roasted malt aroma. Cloudy brown, thick yellow head. Very watery. Caramel, slight astringency, allspice, and graham cracker. Really neat idea, although I had expected more of a clove presence.
