Deep hazy red coloured body with a muddied brown glow and a thinnish, two centimetre tall tan head. Medium-bodied; Strong malt flavours with caramel, a touch of raisins and a dose of toast with a very small hop presence near the end. Aftertaste shows mostly of toasted malt, some caramel and pit fruit flavours, all ending with a little sweetness from caramel, but no hops or anything like that. Overall, fairly mundane, but had decent flavours - nothing bad or assertive, just mild throughout. I sampled this sixteen ounce pour on draught at Deadrise Pies in Cape Charles, Virginia on 02-July-2017 for US$6,00.

On draft. Pours orange with a thin white head. Malt and cardboard on the nose. Mouthfeel is ok, but not great. Roasty flavor with a bitter finish. Leaves me still searching for a truly great red ale.

Tap. Pours crystal clear reddish amber, small beige head, some lacing. Aroma is fairly metallic, grassy, caramel. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, pretty bland. Medium body, a touch of acid.

FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 1, 2014
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured an orange-caramel color with a small foamy tan head that faded and left minimal lacing. The aroma was vegetal, sweetish and had a bit of tropical fruit. The flavor was bitter and vegetal with toffee, tropical fruit and an astringent presence. Medium length finish. Medium body and a bit undercarbonated. Meh.

Mild virtually non existent aroma just a hint of malt. Reddish copper colored, with virtually no head. A dry feel with mildly bitter indistinctive taste with a chalky metallic finish.

Very unimpressed with this local brew. Flavor is a bit skunky and the aftertaste is weak and watery.
