Dark brown pour with little beige foam. Fruit, caramel malt in the nose with touches of anise and spice. Medium / light body, slightly slick with little fizz, Slightly bitter finish. The juniper and anise flavors blend well with the malts giving it a rich, consistent flavor. Slightly strong, but not overwhelming. niquillis (2752) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 30, 2012
On cask at Masons Arms, Lower Odcombe. A pre-match pint before my visit to Huish Park, home of Yeovil Town. Pours mid brown with white head. Nuts, caramel, malts, hop balance. An excellent ale which is very moreish.
