On tap at Ashley's in Ann Arbor. The pour is a nice black color with a darker mocha head and a lot of fizzling carbonation. The head fades down to a film, leaving no lace. The aroma is something else. Coffee dominance up front with a light chocolate presence and a good solid sweetness. There is also a maple bit on the back with a smokiness that can only be attributed to the presence of bacon. The flavor is a bit more balanced. Mostly coffee and chocolate though. Light on maple. The mouth feel is really thin and watery. Definitely not what I was expecting. The carbonation didn't carry over from the head and is almost flat. The aftertaste is a little chocolatey and light.

Sampled on tap at brewery. Decent coffee-espresso nose, light chocolate. Dark black opaque with thin tan head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. About as sweet at Chocolade, but more bitterness to it. Can taste some maple in there, but no bacon what-so-ever. A bit rough and slightly tannic in the finish. Pretty hot at 10% abv, but a decent after taste. Atom (2572) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 13, 2014
On tap at brewpub pours a dark brown/black with a small tan head. Aroma of mild coffee, chocolate and roasted with a touch of earthy smoke. Sweet chocolate and maple up front, coffee coming in on the finish with light smoke and roast. Very nice! Mittenator (1612) - Michigan, USA - JUN 8, 2014
Draft at Oddside. Hazy dark brown with a dark head. Deep milk chocolate with bacon and malt aromas. Dark and dry.
