Milk chocolate aroma. Very good. Pours dark brown with brown head. Very good initial flavor but finishes with a slight off flavor. katrinaez (2307) - norristown, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 14, 2016
Dark black color with some foam. A light, sweet aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a nice bitter kick from the coffee on the back of your throat. Tap at brewery. Beaver (1854) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 27, 2016
12 oz bottle. Pours dark brown black with a medium creamy light tan head that retains well and leaves some lacing. crajun (1268) - , Texas, USA - FEB 27, 2016
The aroma is sweet lactic fruity chocolate and some roast.
The flavor is sweet tart fruit, lactose and chocolate with a little roast in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, the tart fruit doesn’t mix well with the chocolate and roast. Possibly a bad 6 pack?
bottle from winter secret santa. GREAT aroma gave a 9 - roasted dark chocolate milk combination - really great. must have been infected; went really sour quickly into taste. would like to try again due to that aroma!!! Bacterial (3060) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - OCT 30, 2015
Massive coffee nose and chocolate too. Quite a nice nose. Mild roasted malt taste win a hint of coffee - pretty good.

Aroma is great, nice balance of coffee and chocolate, vanilla, lovely. Appearance is black, light brown head. Taste is sweet, milk chocolate, fades into roasted malt and coffee, a touch light. Mouthfeel comes with the disclaimer that the caps were not on real tight, so it’s coming off a little flat but not unbearably so. Still, tons of flavor sticking around. Overall, it’s impressive but they fall just short of being great. Couch0508 (120) - Flat rock, Michigan, USA - MAR 19, 2015
This stout has a pretty good flavor to it. This is my first time trying an Odd Side Ale Beer. Will try more. arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - MAR 15, 2015
Pour on tap at the brewery, thick black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of big chocolate, cocoa nibs, hints of nice coffee, mocha type notes into a lactose, hints of sugary caramel notes with a slight roasted malt note. Taste was sweet, some milk chocolate, coffee, and roasted malt, slight hint of smoke into a bit of lactose, finishing sweet. jhp40219 (449) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAR 6, 2015
12 oz bottle. One of a few different styles my brother brought back for me on a recent Michigan trip. Pours jet black with no light coming through, even when held up to light. One finger creamy chocolate head that leaves a lot of lacing. Aroma of milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel and fresh espresso. Taste is roasted caramel malt and espresso up front with milk chocolate and cocoa following. Even a slight, faint earthy hop bitterness coming through behind it all. Sweet with a slight hint of bitter. Long, dry finish of cocoa, caramel and coffee. Full bodied, thick creamy/chewy texture, moderate carbonation. Great balance between all flavors. This is definitely on a Stone / Founders level beer here! Excellent coffee stout here! djd07 (15661) - Houston, Texas, USA - FEB 22, 2015
Bottle at Black Sunday. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head. The aroma is strong chocolate and roast. Medium mouth with strong milk chocolate, nice roast, sweet, very good.
