Bottle pour. This beer surprised me and just blew me away. It is a medium orangy copper color with strong citra smell and taste (of course). It was not malty/syrupy but a bit on the dryer side than many APA, which is exactly my personal preference. Very drinkable. I have nothing bad to say here. On tap at draught house. Poured goldem color with nice thick head. Aroma - sweet tropical fruits. Taste - citrus , pineapple and mango. Palate - light/medium body and finish is smooth with crisp bite in the finish. Overall - excellent APA! I could drink several of these. Perfect balance of sweet fruits and bitter hops. Great summer time beer! alktrio (9) - Michigan, USA - FEB 5, 2016 does not count
Great aroma and very well balanced. Not overly bitter, lots of juicy tropical fruit flavors. drpimento (3714) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 5, 2017
Excellent pale ale. Both aroma and flavor are very well balanced with hops to malt. Just right bittersweet matched with perfect carbonation, body and finish. Great drinking brew.

12 oz. bottle in a tulip glass. Appearance is a translucent golden brass color with a creamy white head. I’m almost amazed at how clear this beer is. Aroma is huge citrus scents such as mango, with a sweet bubblegum-like scent as well. Taste is a more general citrus flavor along with some pine and other hoppy tastes, plus a mild malt backbone. Not quite as impressive as the nose, but still very nice. This is an excellent pale ale. zubblwump (110) - Michigan, USA - DEC 21, 2016
Dark golden amber without a lot of head. Nice citrus aroma, I get a lot of grapefruit. A decent about of grapefruit in the tastes as well; nice tartness. A little heavier on the tongue than many pale ales. I really like this one; every sip is like the first. I’ll drink again for sure. jaredu135 (3) - Michigan, USA - FEB 18, 2012 does not count
Very hoppy for a pale ale style. More in the ipa league. Hoppy, piney, floral and very citrusy. Reminds me of a fruity ipa. superspak (5784) - Michigan, USA - APR 15, 2013
12 ounce bottle into pint glass; no bottle dating, but released recently. Pours lightly cloudy golden amber color with a nice 2 finger dense cream colored head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of big pineapple, lemon zest, passionfruit, peach, tangerine, floral, honey, and floral earthiness. Excellent aromas with great balance of tropical/citrus notes with a good malt balance; and nice strength. Taste of pineapple, lemon zest, passionfruit, peach, tangerine, floral, light pine, honey, and floral earthiness. Fair amount of tropical bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pineapple, passionfruit, lemon zest, peach, tangerine, light pine, floral, honey, and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity of tropical/citrus hop flavors; with a nice moderate malt balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish; with nice robustness of flavors. Medium carbonation and body; with smooth, lightly creamy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with hardly any warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a highly excellent pale ale! Great balance and complexity of hop flavors with moderate malt balance; and extremely smooth to drink. A highly enjoyable offering. Nice light Pale Ale with citrus flavor and smell. Not overly hoppy, smooth finish. Would drink again if it is available.
