Aroma is sweet hops, malt. Appearance is a nice copper, white head. Taste is full, just as it smells, sweet hops, an Odd Side specific malt that hints of butterscotch, pine. Mouthfeel is nice, decently thick, stuff carbonation. Overall, this is absolutely a go to beer. burg326 (5482) - Florida, USA - SEP 21, 2014
Poured a golden color with aromas of light malt, citrus, hops, and light tropical fruit. Flavors were citrus, hops, and light malt. The citrus flavors and hops quenched my thirst, but still made me want more after each sip. marcus (10232) - Sacramento, California, USA - AUG 13, 2015
On tap at The Buck. Pours cloudy amber with a thick off-white head and a strong citrus aroma. There is a solid pale malt base with some nicely balanced hopping. It’s all about the Citra. Thechasm442 (1005) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 14, 2016
Can pour. Hazy glowing orange with a pillowy thick white head and nice lacing. Aroma is all citra. Bright citrus and pine with caramel in the back. Flavor is grapefruit, orange, pine, and caramel. Juicy and quenching. Not super complex, but super crushable. ads135 (4607) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUN 20, 2016
À very nice citra pale ale. Light grapefruit aroma, golden and translucent, thin white head. Nice bitter bite. Tried at Plum Market at DTW on my way to A’dam in 2016.

Aroma is pine, citrus, light tropical fruit and a hint of perfumed sweetness. The flavor is tropical fruit, hops/hop resin, citrus, malts and a very bitter finish. Pailhead (6540) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - APR 13, 2012
On tap: The aroma consists of light citrus, grapefruit, peach, and light tropical fruits. It’s a transparent golden-orange with a small white head and some nice webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with some nice tropical fruits and peach. The finish has light-moderate citrus and grapefruit bitterness. It’s light-medium bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, this is a damn good session beer and I could really drink a lot of this. I really like Citra hops. Nuffield (4171) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - JUL 25, 2012
Light golden color. Reasonably good carbonation. Orange/lemon aroma, and slightly more malty body, but it is balanced without a huge sense of malt backbone. Refreshing front and a very moderate, enjoyably bitter finish. Spectacular brewing--such a nice, sessionable beer. (sold as Citra Pale, on tap at brewery) Treebs (872) - , Illinois, USA - OCT 5, 2012
Had on tap at Hopcat. Served in an imperial pint glass.
A: Pours a slight hazy gold with some orange hues. Nice frothy white head and nice sticky lace down the glass.
S: Great citrus fruits with some nice lemon and lime peels. Grapefruits and sweet berries.
T: The taste follows the nose, but isn’t as powerful. Light grapefruits up front and finishes with a little bitter bit that is a nice note.
M: Very light and crisp. Very well carbonated and refreshing.
O: Very sessionable and some great citrus fruit flavors. Would enjoy again given the opportunity.
Serving type: on-tap
