Pours a clear copper color. Aroma and taste are pineapple and some malts. Lightly sweet with a bitter finish.

Bottle, pours an orangey amber. Slight fruit aroma. Taste is bitter earthy hops with fruit and sweet caramel malt. Pretty drinkable.

Piney and slight citrus hops with some slight bubblegum flavor and peppery finish. Not really tasting much pineapple, but not a bad beer.

The aroma is an intriguing blend of piney hops and pineapple. The beer pours a clear amber with just a faint dusting of head. Initial presentation is pineapple, which gets quickly overridden by the bitter hops, and comes back for a bit in the finish. A nice solid IPA that has some interesting notes added from the pineapple.

12oz bottle, thanks to robotopera for sharing. Labeled simply "Pineapple IPA". Clear amber color. Thin off-white head. Leaves decent lace. Citrus grapefruit citra type hops, light caramel malt, and then pineapple flavors. Not as straight pineapple juice as Hala Kahiki... More IPA plus subtle pineapple influence. Medium plus body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Light slick. Moderate sweet taste, moderate bitter. OK, interesting stuff to try. Not sure the pineapple works here. Maybe too much sweet caramel malt competing. Maybe try this with a golden ale base? yeah... try that !

Recent bottle from Champane Cellars. More ipa than grapefruit, which is tasted only in the finish. Cloudy orange with lots of lace and head. Drinkable and bitter, not the best base IPA.

Fine IPA aroma and taste, but not much contribution from pineapple. 12 ounce bottle simply called Pineapple IPA.

Pours a dark orange with a foamy white head. Has a light aroma of pineapple and a little bit of hops. Flavor is similarly subtle. The pineapple is barely noticeable. The finish is quite bitter, and theres even a touch of creaminess, which is interesting. Body feel is light, a tad watery. Overall a bit weak and disappointing.

12 oz bottle as just "Pineapple IPA." Pours a hazy orange amber with an off-white head. Citrus, tropical fruit, and a bit of pine in the aroma. Flavor is similar, citrus and tropical fruit, but ties in more pine resin. Its a fairly well-done beer, really.

12 oz. bottle. Pours an orangish amber with a medium white head. Decent head retention and OK lacing. Aroma of pineapple, citrus, some tropical fruit. Flavor is medium bitter hops, pineapple juice, and a surprising amount of malt. A bit sweet. Full bodied, palate is a bit sluggish. Bitterness fills out in the finish. Not really my style and somewhat of a rare miss for Odd Side.
