Bottle at home (bottled 01/29/16?). Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of sweet milk chocolate, roasted malts, coffee, dark fruits, raisins. Taste is over moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter, bitter roasted aftertaste. Not bad. koleminer20 (4171) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - JAN 18, 2017
12 oz bottle. The poor is a moderate dark black with a thin ring of light khaki head and a few solid spots of lace as it falls down. The aroma is very sweet and chocolatey up front. There is a nice lactose sugar followed up by a nice light chocolate and roasted malt. It’s rather good for an Odd Side beer. There is a light coffee that creeps in toward the end. It’s almost like a light mocha chocolate milk. The flavor is very sweet and milky. There was a light roast, I hint of coffee, a bit of chocolate, but mostly it is just lactose and sweet. The roast helps a little, but it’s just not enough. The mouth feel is light and slick with a softer carbonation that it shortly lived, and a lingeringly sweet lactose and light roast that drags on forever. It’s a decent stout, but the flavor has way too much lactose for my liking. MarcoDL (5473) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 19, 2016
Bottle. Black color. Aroma of milk chocolate, malt and coffee. Taste has milk chocolate, creamy coffee, mocha, malt molas and a milky sweet finish. Quite nice. fluffy (2461) - St Petersburg, Florida, USA - OCT 3, 2016
as with most Oddside Ales products, this one meets the expectations you would expect, Drake (14332) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 4, 2016

12 oz. bottle, consumed on 7-27-16. Pours dark brown with a small to moderate amount of dark beige head. Lightly roasted, chocolaty aroma. Pleasant but ordinary smell. Roasted flavor that is simultaneously sweet. Powdered sugar, cocoa, and chocolate-covered raisin. Lightly boozy taste. Medium body. Smooth and frothy in the palate. Likable beer but hardly a special one. MrBunn (2867) - The Wet Side of a Dry Town, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 11, 2016
Bottle. Black pour with a thin tan head and aromas of cocoa, damp earth and leaves, leather and a little cream. Flavor is fairly decent... lots of chocolate and cream with a hint of coffee that wanders across the palate for just a second or so every now and again. Mouthfeel is silky/creamy and a hint of espresso hits very late in the aftertaste. Delightful stout. Mark_Eck (1998) - - JUL 9, 2016
Bottle. Pours black. Aroma and taste are sweet chocolate milk and some roasted malts. chucklemation (1796) - Royal Oak, Michigan, USA - MAY 6, 2016
Pours a jet black with a tan foam head. Aroma is a surprising amount of spicy and earthy hops, with lactose, chocolate, and some roast. Flavor is lactose, chocolate, and earthy and spicy hops. Sweet with a lightly bitter finish. Has moderate carbonation. Not a typical sweet stout with a strong hop profile. Pretty good. andyhwcinc (1886) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 20, 2016
Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home on a cloudy Wednesday mid spring evening. Appearance is pitch black, moderately thick, light tan head. Aroma of lactose and chocolate with a little coffee. Taste is decent, chocolate and lactose still dominate, not too boozy for the 8% ABV. Overall decent.
