The blend of papaya and a small dose of habaneros provide an ideal mixture of spicy and sweet.

Bottle. Clear gold pour with a medium white head. Aroma of malt, papaya and slight chili pepper. Malty and very clean flavor with sweet papaya and slight pepper in the finish. Drinkable and pleasant.

(bottle - 12 oz) Hazy golden orange pour with a thick white head. Big hop aroma with lots of citrus and a light touch of spice. Definitely get a good amount of papaya and hops in the flavor and the habanero creeps up very slowly at the finish. Quite tasty. [9/11/15]

This beer pour golden, but it hides a secret. The tropical fruit flavor is followed by the burning warmth of the burn of he pepper.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color. Aroma and taste are at first tropical fruits before the burn takes over everything else.

12 oz bottle crushed with Honkeybra’s better half. Not sure when it was from. Pretty oxidized aroma. Not getting much of anything on the nose but stale hops. A bit of heat in the flavor, but mostly just cardboard. I’d try again fresher.

12oz bottle. Enjoyed from a plastic cup, on a pontoon boat. Nice thin tan head retains. Nice citrusy hop, some sweet grainy bready malt, mild grapefruit, tropical fruity papaya action, and a nice mild habanero kick at the ned. The habanero is satisfying, and with good flavor... And it’s not so hot as to make this hard to drink nor unpleasant. Nice amount of fruity sweetness to balance the habanero. Medium-plus body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Kind of mild slick. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter. Mild to moderate kick. Solid, enjoyable stuff. Good example of the concept. Touch sweet for a pale ale, but I guess that’s what you gotta do when working with hot peppers.

Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of orange peel, slight tropical fruit into a bit of grain, some veggie notes into a bit of grain. Taste was a mix of orange, mango, pine into some grass, citrus from the habanero into big spice, biscuit, bread, finishing spicy.

Pale gold in color with white head. Light ale aroma and taste...lightly sweet with a touch of pepper. Notes: GABF ’13

12oz bottle pours a yellow amber color without much head. Lots of chili burning at the end. Not tasting much of the papaya. Mild hoppiness.

From a bottle. Reddish-amber in color with a short lived head. Smells hoppy and citrus, with a hint of pepper. Taste starts out hoppy and a little bitter; crisp and refreshing. This is when it starts to fall apart for me. Overpowering taste of hot pepper comes on and stays strong through the finish, and after. Leaves a slight burning in the back of the throat for a half hour after drinking. If this is enjoyable for you, this beer is good. Just not for me.
