Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a semi-hazy burnt orange to bronzed amber color with a cap of a little white foamy head. Fairly quick dissipation, sly messy lace.
The aroma had some citrus to floral sweet and bitter portions, sweet grassy notes, subtle malt base and a touch of sweet and spicy rye. Light earthiness.
The flavor had a touch of the citrus sweet side melding into the floral crisp sweetness. Rye spice and sweetness does gain a nice little kick right before the aftertaste which was rye sweet and spicy. Finish was spicy and sweet, rye and floral.
The palate was roughly medium bodied with a good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt good. Rye harshness was balanced appropriately through the malt base that I noticed in the aroma.
Overall, really nice rye beer that I would have again.

Tap at Odd Side. Aroma is rye, fruit, light caramel and light pine. Tastes like spicy rye mixed with citrus and other generic fruit. Finished moderately bitter with pine and tropical fruit. Good overall. esjaygee (3902) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 30, 2013
On tap at Oddside Brewery. Slightly hazed amber with a tall creamy tan topper. Aroma is grainy and hoppy with a caramel and rye bill. Taste of rye, wheat, caramel and earthy hops and a mild bitter finish. b3shine (9339) - Indiana, USA - JUL 18, 2013
Draft to taster at Odd Side. Looks good; a slightly hazy orange with off-white lacing. Smells and tastes solid; hoppy and malty with notes of citrus and vey mild onion. Pleasant on the palate. Enjoyable. JaBier (8445) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - MAY 25, 2013
Sample at Odd Side on 3/29/13. Clear amber pour with a medium off-white head. Aroma of malt, spicy hops and pine. Malty and oniony flavor with a spicy hop finish.

On tap at Odd Side. Body is a clear deep golden amber with a thin film of head. Aromas are muted with a little hops and not much else. Flavor is decent but not my favorite. Hops are kind of all over the place... Tropical fruit, earthy spice, grass and citrus. That said it doesn’t take a firm stand on where it wants to go. At least that’s how I feel today about it. Maybe I’m too fussy. gonzosauce (196) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - FEB 26, 2013
In the nose alone, one can tell this is under-hopped, and it doesn’t get any better. It looked good! Man, Odd Side’s stouts always impress me so much... but the hop forward options (aside from Citra) bum me out. Nuffield (4252) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - JUL 25, 2012
Very interesting! Fruity front to the aroma but with notes like body odor. A sense of celery in the flavor. Tingling palate, some hop attack, but complex and subtle. Good beer. (on tap at brewery) Strykzone (7848) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JUL 21, 2012
Pintbat Ashleys near Detroit. This was deeper brown and copper. A nice layer of blotches that became lacing. This is full of grapefruit citrus and had more than average bitterness. Caramel added sweetness and smoothness. This was also a bit grainy. Not a bad IPA at all. Tmoney99 (15219) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 11, 2010
Draft sample. Poured hazy amber with an average fizzy off-white head that mostly lasted and had good lacing. Moderate sour citrus hop and malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet rye flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Very good drinkable brew.
