Tasted at the 2017 Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado. Good flavors, close to style, as expected without too many surprises.

Bottle poured into a glass showing pitch black with no head.

The nose shows roasted notes of strong hazel nut.

The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Strong flavours of hazelnut throughout with a roasted bitterness on the finish. Light bourbon in the background. Aggressive alcohol spiciness.

Bottle. Dark brown pour with a small tan head. Aroma is rich and creamy hazelnut, really nice. Taste is sweet and nutty, quite flavourful. This is great.

AWISLguy (3374) - Wisconsin, USA - AUG 17, 2017
5oz pour at ABV Social in Brookfield. Opaque pour, beige head. Costs of lace. Aroma has huge nut and grains, plus cocoa and vanilla. Taste similar, less cocoa, more nut/vanilla. Medium to full bodied, some alcohol presence, the blend is ok. Finishes fairly sweet. Interesting, one of the more nutty brews had. 13.9

Very hazelnut, with some significant chocolate. Like a liquour. Novelty different than anything. Worth a try for a stout fan. Thanks for share, Boran.

Bottle at Puttetjes courtesy of Maakun. Black with tan head. Freak ’m with your nuts. Nuts out. Roasted chocolate malts, burnt marshmallow, nutbutter, nutella, caramel popcorn, milk skin. Over medium sweet and mild bitter. Full body, like drinking tasty nut mud. Very nice. Tastes like something you could buy at TheBodyShop. Bathe in this.
