Sampled from the tap at Hopcat Madison. Pours a hazy earthy orange with a tan head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has a decent amount of pine with bitter citrus and a bit of grain underlying. Flavor has bitter pine and resin supported by sweet grains and a hint of grapefruit. superspak (5691) - Michigan, USA - JUL 30, 2017
12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 6/30/2017. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy medium orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, lime, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, lime, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, lime, lemon/orange peel, pepper, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and dark/bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is well hidden with a mild warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is an awesome DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV, with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Very vibrant, juicy, and lightly dank hops; balanced malts that never get too sweet or heavy feeling. A really enjoyable offering. justkoehn (163) - Michigan, USA - SEP 15, 2016
Copper appearance with little head and no lacing. Aroma similar to regular CPA. Sits nicely on the tongue with a similar flavor. More bite to the aftertaste.

On tap at The Oak. Pours a very cloudy brown red color. Almost looks like a thick apple cider. Thick white wall of lacing. A fresh hop nose. Taste like pure pineapple. A caramel smooth soft finish. I have never had a more pineapple forward beer. Good stuff. JaBier (8027) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - AUG 28, 2015
On tap at Odd Side on 8/8/15. Clear amber pour with a thin off-white head. Aroma of citra spiciness and citrus. Malt and orange flavor with some pine before a bitter grapefruit finish.

Growler. Aroma is juicy tropical fruit, caramel, light pine, and red licorice. Tastes like huge candied pineapple and caramel. Moderately sweet and pretty dank too. Syrupy mouthfeel. Solid but wish it wasn’t so sweet. Mittenator (1612) - Michigan, USA - JUL 18, 2015
Draft at the brewery. Clear copper with a bubbly head. Tropical and put fruits. Syrupy and thick. firstsip (733) - Michigan, USA - JUN 23, 2015
Tap at brewery. Opaque dark gold orange. Scattered lacing. Nice piney, floral nose. Beautifully dry hopped -- floral, citrusy. Hidden ABV! MrBunn (2839) - The Wet Side of a Dry Town, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 16, 2015
On tap at Odd Sides. Pours a deep and slightly reddish gold with a thin head and aromas of juicy mango and passion fruit. Flavor is OK, but the ABV is a little brusque and the hops are slightly muted on the palate and follow a somewhat muted and flabby malt body. Decent, but not quite what it could be with a cleaner fermentation/malt bill.
