12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 12/15/2016. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy medium golden/yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big tangerine, apricot, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, melon, pear, lemon zest, orange peel, peppercorn, clove, pine, light banana/citrus rind, cracker, bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/pine hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, apricot, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, melon, pear, lemon zest, orange peel, peppercorn, clove, pine, light banana/citrus rind, cracker, bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus rind bitterness and peppery yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, apricot, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, melon, pear, lemon/orange rind, peppercorn, clove, pine, cracker, bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero astringent flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitter/spiciness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/sticky/resinous, and fairly grainy balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is a very nice Belgian IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and pretty refreshing to drink. Great balance between hop/yeast flavors, with just enough malt for bitterness balance. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle. Golden with one finger head. Weird IPA. Medium body with some grainy notes. I’m not catching the Belgian aspect much. Reasonable punchy hops. Not bad, but something less than I was hoping for.

Aroma is tropical fruit, malt, barnyard, some yeast, citrus, goodish. Appearance is golden amber, slightly hazy, off white head. Taste is initially tropical fruit, citrus, pine, malt, then fades into barnyard, dusty, funk, goodish. Mouthfeel is light to medium body, light crisp carbonation, dusty funky pine aftertaste. Overall, it’s surprisingly decent.

The aroma is mainly floral, with some notes that hint at the Belgian yeast used. Pours a clear straw with a thin white head. The flavor on the other hand... there’s a touch of tartness at the beginning, then a muddled mix of hop notes, fading into bitterness. Light bodied, but not much else going on with the mouthfeel. Overall, it’s a drinkable beer, but not an outstanding one.

Draft to taster at Odd Side. Looks solid; a fairly transparent gold with ample foamy with head. Smells of citrus and Belgian yeast with a moderately bittersweet backbone. Tastes like it smells, but less robust, with a soft and mildly bitter medium-bodied mouthfeel. Decent, but smells more flavorful than it tastes.

Cloudy golden color with just a hint of white suds on top. Subtle aroma of citrus. Average carbonation and mouthfeel, finishes slightly dry. Flavor blends pine and citrus hops as well as nutty malt. Not getting any Belgian notes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Odd Side. Aroma is very faint for an IPA, especially a Belgian one. Mild pine and nail polish. Tastes the same. I taste no Belgian aspects and it barely registers as an IPA either. Mild bitterness, mild pine and some bready malt. It’s not bad it’s just not a Belgian IPA.
