This one poured a darker brown color with a small tan head. aroma was of chocolate, coffee and mint of course. Flavor was similar, mild on the coffee, definitely like mint chocolate chip ice cream, mint isnt too overbearing which is nice. malkyore (377) - - MAR 24, 2014
Minty. It’s interesting. It’s simultaneously off-putting and refreshing... Coffee flavors and chocolate with an enormous Minty flavor all the way through it. It’s definitely a unique beer. And it’s pretty good. peteinSD (1468) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 18, 2014
Bottle from Sean - thanks! Silky black pour with a slight scattering of tan foam. Smells like mint chocolate chip ice cream with some sharper spearmint gum type aromas toward the finish. Strong mint flavor with background chocolate and some light bitterness. Gets perhaps a little too strong/thin on the mint toward the finish. Clean mouthfeel. Very nice mint stout although I think this particular style iteration does best with a higher ABV beer such as the mint collaboration Stone put out some years back. Basically mint chocolate chip ice cream in beer form. Impressive and quite tasty. Not mega drinkable. cbfobes (2887) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - MAR 12, 2014
Bottle thanks to mikem409, I was pumped when I saw this in the box as this should have been on my wants list, I’m a sucker for these kind of beers, pours black with a thin brown head and a little bit of lacing, aroma is of liquid girl scout cookies, awesome, the flavor has a ton of chocolate on the front end with a good balance of the mint, I was worried it would be over the top mint, but it’s balanced really nicely, nice.

Bottle. Dark brown pour with a small, light brown head. Mint and coffee aroma. Dark chocolate is the dominant flavor with a subtle hint of mint mixed in. Very faint coffee bitterness in the finish. Average carbonation with a creamy texture. Very nice job of putting together a pleasant tasting brew with these flavors. rumproasts (6052) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAR 7, 2014
bottle. thick black pour with very small head. the mint shows up more in the aroma than taste. lots of coffee. flavors meld very, very well. excellent. umich03jm (3512) - Flat Rock, Michigan, USA - MAR 6, 2014
Bottle. Pours black with a good sized foamy head that fades to a pretty thick ring. Leaves a little lacing. Aroma is chocolate, vanilla, lightly roasted coffee and a hint of mint. Taste is more coffee than the other flavors. Chocolate mixes in well and the mint hits in the finish. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Great mint stout. I usually hate them because of too much mint but this has the perfect amount. drfabulous (8682) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - MAR 1, 2014
12 ounce thanks to James. Big black pour with tan head. Heavy stout taste of coffee and roast. Mint in nose and taste, but not overpowering. I was concerned about the mint, but it comes off nicely and compliments the overall taste. koleminer20 (4091) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - FEB 22, 2014
12 oz bottle shared at a tasting on February 17. The pour is dark. Not pitch black, but definitely darker than a dark brown. There is a nice tan head, dissipating quickly, leaving minimal head. The aroma is humongous on mint. There is also chocolate very present, and hardly any coffee like is in the name. It smells just like a Girl Scout Cookie (Thin Mint). The flavor is very similar. There still isn’t much coffee or java in there, and I suddenly want to crack open a box if Thin Mints. The mouth feel is creamy, decently thick, and the aftertaste lingers around, offering that minty flavor for a while.
