bottle. Golden straw with small head. Sweet very fake lemon with a rindy bitterness that comes off as medicinal. Missing any tartness that you'd expect from lemons. Not much redeeming here. Can't believe they released something this bad.

Bottle from Merchants. Aroma is wheat, lemonade, citrus, actually really nice. Appearance is straw golden, hazy, off white head. Taste is lemonade, citrus, hoppy, wheat, pine, this is actually quite good. Mouthfeel is light body, light crisp carbonation, lemon wheat hop aftertaste. Overall, I’m quite impressed with this one. 7 4 7 4 15

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 4/26/2017. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of lightly tart lemon, lime, peach, pear, apple, citrus peel, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of lemonade, pale malt, earthy hops, and fruity yeast notes; with solid strength. Taste of lightly tart lemon, lime, peach, pear, apple, citrus peel, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/grassy/spicy bitterness and slight lemon tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, peach, pear, apple, citrus peel, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of lemonade, pale malt, earthy hops, and fruity yeast flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness and carbonation, increasing through the glass. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy/sticky, and slightly acidic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a nice fruited pale wheat ale. All around nice robustness and balance of lemonade, pale malt, earthy hops, and fruity yeast flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. On the bitter side for a wheat ale, but not overdone. Doesn’t quite feel like a shandy. There is enough body and malt presence to feel like a standard wheat ale. Very well balanced and nicely enjoyable.

Refreshing beer. Much better than some of the other lemon brews. Beer with a hint of lemon is better than lemon with a hint of beer like some of the others. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle from the brewery. Hazy yellow, large foamy off-white head, poor retention. Aroma of lemonade and pale malt. The taste is lemon, lime, pale malt, something bitter and peppery. Thin, high carbonation. Meh.
