Tasted from bottle. Pours black with beige head. Aroma of smoked meats, maple syrup and hints of coffee. Complex flavor with bitter finish. Flavors of maple syrup, coffee, rye, bourbon, caramel, toffee. Awesome BA stout.

12 oz bottle poured. Huge thanks to JStax for the bottle. Very fun bottle here. Dark, near black pour. Swirling tan foam head. Maple, chocolate aroma. Flavor is a delicious breakfast. More appealing than the aroma, though the aroma wasn't bad. Maple, chocolate, cinnamon. Like a delicious donut packed into a beer. Not getting a true bacon out of this, but I'm glad it's there. Bottle in Seattle. Big hanks go andrew for saving and sharing this. Rocky offwhite foam on a chewy, ruddy brown body. Odd aromas, but seems like breakfast. Some maple, nuts, French toast. Sip it much better than the aroma, thick and smooth, lingering rye character mixed with coffee, maple and chocolate. A lot going on and for the most part it balances well. Bacon is the odd man out; not much smokiness but a lingering oily/fatty feel. Rye whisky flavor lingers as well. On tap at ABV Social in Wauwatosa. Opaque pour, beige head leaving coats of lace. Aroma has sweet whiskey, chocolate. The choc/vanilla nice blend although would prefer bourbon to the rye. 12 ounce bottle poured into shaker pint. Thick two finger mocha head, pours black with ruby tones. nose of maple syrup, roast. taste- very sweet maple, rye whiskey and vanilla fudge with a slick and silky mouthfeel. spicy and bitter finish and slightly boozy. Sampled from the tap at Hopcat Madison. Pours near black with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma combines maple and coffee with dark grains, roasted malts and whiskey supporting. Flavor has strong maple supported by roasted malts, dark grains and some bacon notes.
