Pour out of 12 oz bottle, hazy orange-red pour with white head, aroma brought notes of pineapple, mango, grass, pine, hints of biscuit, bread, hints of grass, slight earth. Taste is a mix of grass, bread, earth, some nice mango, pineapple, hints of grain, finishing bitter, dry. Nice. bytemesis (8219) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - MAY 20, 2013
Bottle in trade. I am really trying to figure out what people DONT like about this beer! Pours cloudy yellow amber with a lot of floates and a medium off-white head that leaves some lacing. OK, not a great start. Aroma is classic simcoe - nice grapefruit and pine aromas bursting from the glass. Flavor follows, perhaps a bit watered down given that this is a session beer, but otherwise nice. Body is light, not surprising. I could drink a few of these on a hot afternoon and be quite happy about it. milewide (2217) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAY 21, 2013
Bottled on 5/12/13 and drank on 5/21/13. Fresh! Pine and herbal aroma and taste. Very bitter finish! Label says it is a "session IPA" ---but no mention of ABV on either bottle or website. umich03jm (3513) - Flat Rock, Michigan, USA - MAY 27, 2013
Bottle. Pours a mostly clear golden orange color with a small fizzy head that quickly fades. Aromas are pine, lemons, light honey and a light musty herbal funk. Taste is very piney, citrusy and herbal. Very little malt taste but it’s a session IPA. Light sweetness, light bitterness. The hops are fresh and very nice. Thin body, fairly dry finish. Overall, very solid session IPA. Fresh hops and goes down easy. A small step below Founders All Day. crossovert (12614) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 14, 2013
Light bodied, caramel flavors, maltier than most session ipas but pleasant brew.

Hazy golden-orange, medium sized white head, soapy lacing. Grassy, piney, citric simcoe profile with a noticeable, but light, pale malt presence. Medium bodied, lively carbonation, moderate bitterness. jeremugohio (94) - springboro, Ohio, USA - SEP 21, 2013
Nice beer. Tasty citra hops, but not over-bearing. Good golden poorand mildly bitter finish. jgb9348 (6186) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAR 20, 2014
Crystal clear coloured golden body with a thin, one centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of bright herbal and slightly sweet hops with a light hay and yeast note and some smells of honey and flowers. Light-bodied; Assertive floral and grassy note of hops with a good bitterness and a light finish showing mostly hops and quite a bit of grass, hay and yeast. Aftertaste is mild and pleasing with the hop flavours the strongest and no funky flavours or pungent notes, just the simcoe flavour of hops and a lot of dry, herbal notes. Overall, a nice and well received beer that shows exactly what you want from a session-style beer, a lot of flavour with no heaviness and assertive complexity. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan on 02-August-2013 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 20-March-2014. Tasted from a 12oz bottle. It poured a clear golden with a bubbly to frothy white head and big streaky lacing. Aroma of malt and hops with a bits of pine and grassiness. Plenty of hop taste with a slightly bitter finish. An enjoyable session IPA. Ostomo517 (73) - Norton Shores, Michigan, USA - MAY 14, 2013
Pours golden with some hop matter and such, but it is unfiltered. Aroma is nice Simcoe but could definately use a boost. Palate is nice malty start but nicely layered Simcoe slowly creeping to a peak of good bitterness. A great session beer!
