The aroma is a light bread. Pours a dark amber brown with a light tan head and good lacing. The taste is a light sweet and then a light bitter. The body is medium/full, the texture is creamy, the carbonation lively and the finish long. A damn good beer!! italianjohn (3281) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 22, 2017
Black pour with a thin beige head and light sticky lacing ..... aroma of coconut, dry oak, vanilla, whiskey and spicy rye with some chocolate and roasted malts .... taste is of sweet lactose, coconut, dry oak and spicy rye with a boost whiskey and chocolate, also has some roasted malts and vanilla with some nut character ..... finish is bitter with lingering dry oak, coconut, cocoa and whiskey ..... slick and oily mouthfeel.... bit too sweet with the lactose sugar, solid other than that drsordr (2885) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - NOV 15, 2017

12oz bottle. Delicious rye whiskey, dark chocolate, vanilla and lightly roasty dark malts in a creamy milk stout base. Gotta take a lactose pill to drink it, but it's worth it! Made a great 1:1 blend with their Sweet Potato Souffle Rye (BA) Ale. Sammy (12845) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 8, 2017
almost a conventional IS. Some coconut from barreling up front. Good depth and complexity as warms. A fireside sipper. Small bottle good for sharing at this abv. Not too rye.

On tap at Hopcat A2. Pours black with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of vanilla and barrel with dark grains, roasted malts and a bit of rye. Flavor combines sweet dark grains, vanilla and barrel with some rye and roast supporting. rumproasts (6052) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - SEP 21, 2017
Tap at Logan's. Near black with small head. Sweet and malty. Medium bourbon. The sweetness is pretty overwhelming, but it does make this seem pretty smooth for the abv. Msdrbeat (785) - East Lansing, USA - APR 11, 2017
On tap at Hopcat. Wow. Dark and maintains a head. Really quite sweet but perfect for a taster. Thick.
