Half liter bottle from the brewery. Clear ruby-brown, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of tart cherry, pepper, funk, leather. The taste is tart cherry, cranberry, funk, vinegar. Medium bodied, well balanced, high carbonation. milewide (2326) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUL 20, 2017
Murky brown color. Excellent blend of sour with Belgium-like barrel aged flavors. Quite complex! jtw (1170) - farmington, Michigan, USA - FEB 18, 2017
500 mL bottle, not heavily sour or tart on the nose but some acidity is there. Murky amber color with minimal carbonation. First taste is a refreshing balance of sour and sweet- not puckeringly tart but enough tang to cut through. A good foray into sours from oddside. If this becomes a series i’ll gladly try the rest. deyholla (12463) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 1, 2017
Bottle. Pours a hazy amber red with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of earthy red sour fruits with earthy grains and a hint of acid. Flavor has sour red fruits with a musty earthy grain backbone. wlajwl (7129) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - NOV 3, 2016

Very decent drinkable sour red, found at Holiday Mart. Reddish tinge. Decent throughly. A little head. Liked it. b3shine (9208) - Indiana, USA - OCT 3, 2016
500 ml bottle to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; a cloudy amberish brown with off-white head that dissipates into thin lacing fairly quickly. Smells lactic and funky with a Flanders-like cherry presence. Tastes like it smells with a pleasantly acidic medium-bodied mouthfeel. A touch of apple cider vinegar on the tongue as well. Tasty. kaser (6409) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 18, 2016
Dark red pour from bottle at home, a lot of white head. Cherry aroma. Tart but dry and funky cherry and bland flavor. I don't love it or dislike it. koleminer20 (4091) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - JUL 19, 2016
From notes. Enjoyed at Doug’s house on July 04 for the first beer I’ve brewed with him! 500 mL bottle. The pour is a brown-ish ruby color with a pretty dense light tan head and a light lace as it falls to a small cap. The aroma is interesting. There is a lot of winey tendencies here. There is a lightly tart cherry and a good bit of vinegar. The barrel is light, but offers a decent addition. The flavor is a little more lemon zest oriented and sharp. There is still a strong wine character. The oak offers a nice break from the fruits, and balances decently. The mouth feel is not too bad. It’s got a lack of carb, and the finish isn’t my favorite, but this is a surprisingly good sour red. umich03jm (3512) - Flat Rock, Michigan, USA - JUN 29, 2016
Bottle. Aroma is cherry coke, apple and mild oak. Tastes like cherry coke mixed with sour cherries and mild funk. Semi- sweet up front with a tart and mildly dry finish. Some vinegar too. Easy to drink and very good.
