Keg at the brewery. Clear golden, large creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of piney, floral hop, lactose. In this context the lactose is reminiscent of spoiled milk. Taste is lime, grapefruit, lactose. A little odd.

Aroma is dank hops, spices and a hint of odd funk/sweetness. The flavor is grapefruit, slightly earthy and a mix of sour and slight bitterness in the finish.

Bottle. Pours a very light straw color with a massive head and aromas of skunky hops with a little "macro-swill" malt character. Flavor shows more citrus than skunk but an odd flavor too... kind of smoky and soapy. It’s distracting but I’m trying to muddle through. The beer is light and refreshing and all and the smoky flavor seems to disappear as it warms a bit.

355ml bottle. This is not what i would extepct dfrom a session ipa, its liek a tropical pale ale, not terrible. Name/marketing once again better than the beer for oddside.

Bottle to pint glass. Clear golden yellow with an average head and ok lacing. Extra point for awesome bottle artwork. Aroma is grapefruit, orange zest, mild tropical flavors, and sweet, light , malts. Flavor is all citrus with a little pine and tropical fruit. Mostly juicy citrus though. Light malt flavor adds some depth. Creamy mouthfeel from the lactose and a somewhat dry finish. Tasty beer.

chucklemation (1844) - Royal Oak, Michigan, USA - MAY 16, 2016
Pours a hazy yellow with a white foam head. Aroma is herbal hops, light citrus, and some hints of lactose sweetness. Flavor is much bolder on the hops profile, with herbal hops dominating along with some citrus. There is an underlying sweetness, but it’s not overdone like I expected. The body is smoother than most IPAs. Much better than I expected and quite good.

superspak (6661) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - MAY 13, 2016
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 4/6/2016. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy golden straw color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaning the head. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of pineapple, passion fruit, peach, mango, melon, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, light honey/bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/tropical hops and light pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of pineapple, passion fruit, peach, mango, melon, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, light honey, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pineapple, passion fruit, peach, mango, melon, grapefruit, lemon/orange rind, pine, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of of citrus/tropical/pine hops and light pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness, that increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, moderately sticky/resinous, and lightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. No alcohol warmth as expected of 5%. Overall this is a very good session IPA. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of of citrus/tropical/pine hops and light pale malt flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Taste is what impressed me. Touch of malt sweetness, herbal hops with moderate bitterness. Lactose probably adds some sweetness and body.

Pale golden pour, mostly clear, with quarter inch of white head. Aroma of herbal and citrus hops, kind of faint. Soft carbonation, slightly creamy mouth feel, crisp finish. Flavor has biscuity malt, lime and lemon rind, lactose qualities are there too. Decent but slightly bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Botte. Aroma is huge grassy hops with crackers. Tastes the same. Crisp and clean like a good IPL. Don’t detect any lactose. Moderately bitter. Good.
