Hazy amber with a rocky off-white topper, slowly fading. Aroma of floral and grassy hops, grain and caramel. Taste of mild hops, grain, earthy and grassy hops. Finishes dry and mildly bitter, not terribly hoppy. DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 17, 2008
Bottle at GBBF with the shack of disco party dance boyz. Alround rating: Decent balanced pale ale, caramalt character, earthy citrus hop, pepperyness too. Good stuff. kyzr (1607) - Montana, USA - SEP 15, 2008
Light amber pour with white head. Light hoppy nose with some bread notes. Flavor has a quick punch of hops that is soon balanced with malt. Body is medium with a crisp finish. cb23 (97) - St. louis, Missouri, USA - SEP 12, 2008
Bottle. Hazy amber color. good white head. Aroma is very notable with strong floral hops and sweet bread. Tasted predominately of sweet malt with the very fruity hops. Can almost taste banana? The hop flavor isn’t bitter and floral like most american style pale ales. Interesting, nothing too special though, probably wouldn’t recommend it. harrisoni (19559) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - SEP 3, 2008
Bottle from GBBF 08. Amber, thin beige head. A little bit of acidic nettle? Not a great pale ale, some toffeeish malt, but I’m not a big fan of these acidic nettle hop beers. Bit dull.

Bottle pours a clear golden beer with a thin head. Aroma is sweet malt. Flavor is sweet grassy malt taste with a stong finish. Bitter end, not dry. Pretty good TikiE (368) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - AUG 20, 2008
Bottled: brought back from out West, probably could have gotten a better on though. Pours gold color that has a white head that disappears into a white lacing. Somewhat bitter in taste with somewhat of an aftertaste of rotten fruit. Didnt really enjoy it. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 18, 2008
A Mes rate: Bottle at GBBF.cgarvieuk (26421) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 16, 2008
A very attractive golden amber colour with a good off white head and an excellent snowstorm when swilled. Very sweet malty aroma with rather a lot of alcohol showing. Wheaty and rather dull. Reasonable malt and hop balance and a delicate bitter finish.
Bottle at home (one of my 60 bottle GBBF haul :-)) ... nice copper ... odd something and a little hop ... little sweet mellow fruit ... floral hops ... decent balance but like maeib says nothing special jetzler (622) - oklahoma city, Oklahoma, USA - AUG 16, 2008
Bottle, pours a murky tan light brown color with a tan head, that fades quickly. Light hop aroma, slightly fruity sweetness, mild hops rather floral. Its not bad a for an english style pale ale its pretty good.
