COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Care for some hops with your hops? Before we ferment our 5 Barrel Pale Ale, we strain it through a bed of 'em. Then while it ages, we add even more. We like how this gives the beer a fresh, lively finish. We like hops.

As we go about refining the recipe for each new beer, we brew up just five barrels at a time. That's exactly how we arrived at this pale ale -- so that's what we named it. Plus, it sounded a lot nicer than Giant Vat Pale Ale.

Medium body. Medium head. Fairly bitter but well balanced. This is closer to an ipa than a pale ale. Citrus.

Clear caramel, to copper pour wih a two finger off white head. Aroma is bread, cereal, light metal/mineral, apple and slight citrus. Flavor is toast, cereal, mineral, citrus and earthy tree fruit. Light to medium body, neutral to dry feel, medium carbonation. Okish.

Flaska beställd från SB. Bärnstensfärgad med luftigt smutsvitt skum. Doft av bröd och citrus. Lätt citrus och lite barr med skaplig beska.

12 oz bottle in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. Pours with a clear light copper colored body topped by a large, fluffy, durable, bone colored head. Hoppy for style with moderates bitterness. Earthy and herbal flavor and aroma, with some pine in the nose. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottled, 355ml from Wine Lord in Hockley Birmingham. Hazy orange gold with white head. There is a fruity, orange hopped nose to this on pouring which translates into the beer itself. Hoppy and lightly bittering, just a hint of resin, some tropical fruit but mostly citrus notes. Easy on the palate. Enjoyable.

Bottle. Orangey Gold in colour. Hoppy; grassy and oily resinous hops, some pine. Fruity; grapefruit citrus. Malty backbone. Nice hoppy/fruity/malty balance. Very drinkable. (2011-03-13)

Golden, hazy, low lingering head. Aroma tofee, soapy. Palate heavy, oily. Medium carbonation. Taste balanced, malty notes, slight toffee and breadcrumbs. Actually I quite enjoy lack of hopiness. Bottle from 2014, aged hop character.
