COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Richer than most amber ales, 90 Shilling is smooth & deeply satisfying, with a crisp, clean Colorado taste. The name comes from the old Scottish method of naming a brewery's beer, based on original gravity and resulting tax rating.

Pours dark amber with a small-med head. No real aroma, not much of an aftertaste. Very much there in the moment, and the moment isnt too distinct. The taste is sweet and a little vomit flavored (sorry to be gross not sure how else to describe it...). The palate is zingy and sort of boozy. Not my favorite Odells, I remember it being more interesting on tap, rather than poured from bottle.

Pours a light gold with heavy white head. A faint floral and light malt aroma. A surprisingly creamy body with floral, citrus hops, caramel, and malts. A lingering bitter hop and dry malt aftertaste.

I like this. Copper brown, very clear with a thin layer of white head and some good lacing. Nose is nutty and malty, agree with previous rater that there is pecan in there, caramel too. Medium body, soft carb. Plenty of malt in the flavour too, caramel and roasted, and a touch of fruit - maybe blackcurrant. Definitely got the Scottish vibe going on.

Poured from a growler while watching USA and Argentina. We will see what kind of luck this beer has in over coming Messi. Not the best Odell I have had. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

At the brewery late on a Saturday afternoon. An amber gold with a thin off white head. Biscuit and bitterness in the aroma. The flavor is sweet malty molasses & biscuity malts. Crisp clean finish on a medium body, a nice Scottish Ale.
