COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Richer than most amber ales, 90 Shilling is smooth & deeply satisfying, with a crisp, clean Colorado taste. The name comes from the old Scottish method of naming a brewery's beer, based on original gravity and resulting tax rating.

I like this. Copper brown, very clear with a thin layer of white head and some good lacing. Nose is nutty and malty, agree with previous rater that there is pecan in there, caramel too. Medium body, soft carb. Plenty of malt in the flavour too, caramel and roasted, and a touch of fruit - maybe blackcurrant. Definitely got the Scottish vibe going on.

Poured from a growler while watching USA and Argentina. We will see what kind of luck this beer has in over coming Messi. Not the best Odell I have had. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

At the brewery late on a Saturday afternoon. An amber gold with a thin off white head. Biscuit and bitterness in the aroma. The flavor is sweet malty molasses & biscuity malts. Crisp clean finish on a medium body, a nice Scottish Ale.

Tasted from can. Pours a clear brown Amber with thick off white head. Tons of lacing. Mild nutty and caramel aroma. Taste is moderately sweet with minimal to no bitterness. Flavors of caramel, toffee, maple syrup and a little nuttiness. Very well done for style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
