750 bottle. Pours dark black with a small dissipating head. Nose is slightly malty and fruity, with not much barrel aging coming through. Taste is slightly woody, with some mild fruity flavors. "imperial tasting" with roastiness. Not too bad. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 23, 2011

750ml bottle. Rating #71. Dark brown with some red hints and a nice tan head. Aroma is light fruits and a bit of roast. Tart, light roast and light fruit, real nice though. (1849) durhambeer (2500) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUL 16, 2011
Bottle from the brewery. Pours near-black with two-finger foamy dark tan head. Nose shows fruity tartness on top of typical malty, chocolatey notes. Perhaps a hint of cinnamon. Similar taste with bright acidity and mild sourness. Hints of peaches linger on the finish. emmasdad (85) - , Colorado, USA - JUL 8, 2011
A: Rich, dark brown with about a finger of dense beige foam
S: Tart, oak, chocolate, orange peel...surprisingly devoid of any hints of the promised peach
T: Nice tartness on the palate, musty, sweet, cocoa, hint of peach
M: Rich, thick and full-bodied
D: The tartness cuts the thickness very nicely, although a smaller serving would be welcome.

Pours a dark brown with a tan head. Has a sour peach smell to it. Has a malty sour peach taste that I’m not digging. I think this would of been much better without the peach. I’ll pass on this one next time bradner (91) - Oswego, Illinois, USA - JUL 5, 2011
750 ml poured into a snifter and shared with a friend.
AROMA: Some chocolate malt, peaches, and some funkiness.
APPEARANCE: Dark chocolate brown, thick, and creamy brown head.
TASTE: Peach flavor is the main event here, malt, some sourness, coffee, and finishes with a hint of chocolate.
PALATE: Full bodied with better than average carbonation.
OVERALL Yes, there is quite bit of peach flavor, but that is why I like this one so much coupled with the sour fruit notes. For me, the flavors come together extremely well. Definitely worth picking up if you like fruit in porters. Silphium (3199) - Traverse City, Michigan, USA - JUL 1, 2011
Bottle shared by badnewsbeers. Deep ruddy brown body, medium clumping tan head. Nose of peach, alcohol, and toast. Body with peach and roast, musty with sharp fruit and fruitskin notes; also prickly with warming alcohol. Potent. Gription79 (2891) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - JUN 21, 2011
I felt that this was a fairly one dimensional beer.
Aroma: chocolate, roasty malts
Taste: the chocolate malts dominate the flavor, hints of peaches
I feel that there should be more to this beer and will have to try it again. badnewsbeers (2312) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUN 19, 2011
wanted to love this beer, as it mixes my favorite fruit with my favorite style. just didnt work out too well. that being said, it was not bad by any means. ruddy brown with minimal head. aroma of spicy, floral hops with added oak. flavor has some peach or apricot with added toasted malt and slick oak. slightly boozy and unrefined.
