On tap at Hops & Pie. Pour is pitch black with a small brown head and good lacing. Big caramel, whiskey, brown sugar, vanilla, wood, chocolate, coconut, anise, and roast in the aroma. Taste is big cocoa, roast, espresso, oak, a touch of vanilla, bourbon, raisins, figs, brown sugar, and molasses with a light bitter/roasted finish. Slick mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Fun blend. On tap at Hops and Pie poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of roasted malt, coffee, oak, milk chocolate, light fruittiness and a hint of bourbon. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of milk chocolate, oak, roasted malt, light vanilla and a hint of bourbon with a smooth lingering milk chocolate finish.
