75 cl bottle @ Timo A.jandd1983 (4330) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - MAR 15, 2015
Pours hazy orange color with a huge head. Sweet rose hip and orange on the nose, yeast, herbal notes and wood. Sourish apricot and orange on the flavor, yeasty, moderately spicy, wooden notes and some toffee and green apples. Very smooth and pleasant palate, alcohol is also very well hidden. I like this very much.
It poured a cloudy copper color with an off-white head. The aroma was of sour fruit and yeast. The taste was sour and sweet fruits with a medium to heavy sweet and sour finish. Awesome.

Pours a very deep orange with a thick beige head. Aroma is citrus and some hops, fruity/get the wine barrel smell. Taste is very complex, a little sweet, fruit like and some spice - definite get a little of the apple and grapefruit as advertised but it is subtle. Also definitely get the sour/wild ale name as it definitely finishes sour and id call the finish dry. Quite an experience - very glad my beer guy recommended.

Appearance: Clear amber with 3 finger thick beige head.
Aroma: Woody, fruity, spicy, leather, wine notes, funky, acetic, citrus, caramel and malty.
Taste: Medium sourness, low/medium sweetness and low bitterness.
Palate: Thick slightly grainy texture, medium body, prickly carbonation, dry lingering tart acetic, wine, fruity, spicy, bready, caramel finish with alcohol warmth.
Comments: Very good and glass lace. elbernays (1509) - Dublin, IRELAND - JUN 21, 2014
Pours cloudy yellow orange. Big lasting foam head. Looks great. Nose is mild sour, orange rind, bread, yeast, urine. Sweet orange flavour, spice, with a disappointing amount of sourness. Plenty of bubbles which is a bit too much and leaves a sugary sherbet finish. Alcohol strength is managed well. For a wild beer you would be expecting more complexity and sourness. Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. £17! bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. This cloudy orange coloured beer pours with a large foamy head and remains lively to the bottom of the glass. It has spicy citrus and pineapple flavours, vanilla, oak, wine, whisky and tart cider apple notes on the dry, creamy zesty finish.
