Pours a nice cloudy apricot color with a very fluffy white head. Aroma is up front with some barnyard, manure, citrus, oak, light vinous notes, clementines. Flavor has some good funk, yeast, oranges, leathery flavors, some tart qualitites mixed in with the sweet yeasty flavors. I think this version is better than the original version. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - OCT 1, 2012
Sampled on 10/1/2012 at Odells Brewery. This wild ale pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, sweet, orange and tropical, with some wood and some tartness. A medium to full bodied wild ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, with some tropical flavors. The hops are earthy. Mild carbonation. Touch of wood, some funk, and some white wine. Nice balance. Hides the alcohol very well. Nice blend of sweet, fruit, wood and tart. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet. vyvvy (6559) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 8, 2012
Really nice offering from Odell once again. Pours hazy copper / orange with a dense off-white head. The aroma has sour apples, tartness, apricots, mild vanilla/oak, wild yeast bugginess and earthiness. Medium full smooth body with lots of gentle flowing carbonation. The flavor starts with far more influence from the wine barrels with both wine and oak aspects. There is lots of red wine, berries, fruitiness, vanilla and wild yeastiness. The finish is a funk fest for being just released. There is aso dry red wine, toasty malt and different sour aspects. Great beer. merc7186 (3142) - North Tonawanda, New York, USA - OCT 11, 2013
A: Orange/Golden Straw Hue, Passes Some Light, White Head, Some Lacing
S: Cranberry, Apple, Pear, Mild Belgian Yeast
T: Apple, Pear, Mild Cherry, Mild Lactic Acid
M: Decent Carbonation, Medium Bodied, Mildly Sweet, Mildly Yeasty
Overall, a pretty nice mild fruit wild ale...not sour by any means DW78715816 (119) - Kansas, USA - AUG 30, 2014
Pours a very deep orange with a thick beige head. Aroma is citrus and some hops, fruity/get the wine barrel smell. Taste is very complex, a little sweet, fruit like and some spice - definite get a little of the apple and grapefruit as advertised but it is subtle. Also definitely get the sour/wild ale name as it definitely finishes sour and id call the finish dry. Quite an experience - very glad my beer guy recommended.

750 mL bottle shared at Slutfest 4. Pours a
murky orange color with a large foamy tan head.
Good head retention. Aroma of stone fruits,
butter, pale malts, wood, earthy hops, honey.
The taste is strawberries, stone fruits, honey,
earth, nuts, herbal malts. Medium bodied,
excellent balance, slight tartness. OKBeerFan (67) - - SEP 30, 2013
There is so much going on in this beer! The flavor profile is extremely complex. There is apple, grapefruit, a hint of a Rose wine, some barrel is slightly in the taste. There is a earthiness to it as well, some sourness from the lacto. Overall wonderful beer. Wish I had another to enjoy later.

75 cl bottle @ Timo A.Tmoney99 (14745) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 26, 2012
Pours hazy orange color with a huge head. Sweet rose hip and orange on the nose, yeast, herbal notes and wood. Sourish apricot and orange on the flavor, yeasty, moderately spicy, wooden notes and some toffee and green apples. Very smooth and pleasant palate, alcohol is also very well hidden. I like this very much.
Bottle shared by b3shine. Poured a cloudy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy sour fruit and yeast aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sour & sweet fruit flavor with a medium to heavy sweet & sour finish of moderate to long duration. This is a standout beer and good for another large round number for me. musinj6 (506) - Dedham, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 26, 2012
