On tap @ Flanny’s for the Odell’s tap takeover...Hazy golden orange pour, a little funky with brett and fruity aroma..Tart, citrus, yeasty and a little sour bite. Very good stuff. BeerandBlues2 (13719) - Escondido, California, USA - JUN 3, 2012
Tap. Pours lightly hazy orange with a small, frothy white head, short retention with good lacing. Aroma is acetic grapes and vinous notes, oak, pear and apple, biscuit malt. Flavor is sour and acetic grapes with oak, mild malt, and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation. arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - APR 16, 2012
Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of nice tropical fruit with mango, pineapple and some slight passionfruit, hints of oak and tannic vanilla bean, some hints of orange as well, biscuit and yeast flavors come through with a slightly sour note. Taste is not quite as nice, the sourness is gone and the tropical fruit is a bit faded, but you still get some pineapple and orange notes, hints of yeast and biscuit, finishing fairly sweet, hint of funk at the end. hellbilly (3247) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - APR 6, 2012
2/18/12 strong beer fest.
hazy golden. small white head.
milky aroma...some dust, peaches, lemon and wood.
the flavor is much the same.... kinda like creamed peaches with a touch of lemon juice. it is not overly sour... actually, if it weren’t 10%, i would be drinking nothing but this on a hot day...it’s pretty fig gin refreshing and incredibly balanced.

Tap at Road 34. Hazy dark gold with a foamy thin head with good lace. Interesting aroma of funky yeasty wood with a citrusy kind of hop note. Slight sourness on the nose as well some caramel and oak. Taste is smooth and supremely balanced. Slight sourness with a oaked quality with a decent hop citrus note, some caramel, some bacteria yeast, a sweet pale malty tone with an almost peppery note, ending sweet-ish with a dry sour yeast essence. Precious.

Turbid gold pour - nose of pineapple, peach, lacto tartness - flavors of semi-sweet peach flesh, light lacto and mild funkiness - fairly sweet tropical notes and bready yeastiness - lots of peach character - touches of vanilla - a touch of acetic acid on the tail end - quite sweet, but equally funky - okay. cubs (10693) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 1, 2012
Tap @ Odell. Golden orange appearance with a white head. Really a nice, pineapple/mango bretty, a bit funky, lightly tart aroma. Lemon/orange citrusy, lightly woody, a bit bretty flavor that was somewhat disappointing after enjoying the aroma. Camons (13035) - Hasselager, DENMARK - MAR 1, 2012
Tap @ Odells Taproom. A stop on grand tour of Fort Collins breweries and bars with Tim, Aaron and Armin, Thanks !! Pours hazy golden with small white head. Aroma of oak, caramel, fruit, citrus, sour. Taste is oak, caramel, sourness, lemonpeel, citruss, grapefruit, light spicyness. Thin body, low carbonation. 250212 daknole (11050) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - FEB 24, 2012
Hazy gold pour, white head. Nice fruity aroma, some lactic tartness is noticeable, some citrus, lemon zest. Flavor is an incredible balance of fruit notes, tartness, yeasty...not overly sour. But damn delicious. BOLTZ7555 (3027) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - FEB 19, 2012
Sampled at AZ Strong Beer Fest. Beautiful light honey/straw colored pour with a razor-thin ivory head that dissipates quickly. Lemongrass, bright citrus, orange peel, grapefruit pith and lightly soured. Not at all mouth-puckering or eye-crossing, just the right amount of acidity/vinegar to add complexity. Refreshing...could drink this all day long!
