750 mL bottle. Pours lightly hazy and sparkling copper with a huge, fluffy white head, long retention with fair lacing. Aroma is earthy, herbal, and spicy hops, straw, meal, and biscuit malts, faint pepper and honey notes with light fruity esters. Flavor is spicy peppers, medium hops and bitterness, light alcohol, oak, fairly significant malt backbone and a dry, spicy finish. Full body, medium to high warmth, moderate carbonation. Gold, slight haze, thin white head. Aroma of pilsner malt, some spicy wheat, a lot of interesting elements from the various special ingredients. A marmalade-like sweetness, maybe some lime, slight chili character, honey evident. Interesting.

Tap. Light amber pour with a finger of head. Malt, herb, citrus. Big body. Sweet throughout. Syrup like finish. notalush (5876) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 3, 2012
Mostly clear gold - a fairly straightforward, clean and moderately sweet DIPA - flavors of vanilla and earthy hops, with a bit of coconut and a cool, minty character from the hops - very well-hidden alcohol - lingering vanilla - not bad - not sure what makes it worth 14 bucks a bottle. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 23, 2012
750ml Bottle: Got in trade from stumpyiliz; THANKS Aaron! Aroma of malt, hops, citrus, oranges, fruit, a hint of honey, and a hint of chili. Poured orange in color with a large, loose, rocky, foamy, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer. Very hazy. Sparkling. Full of tiny-sized particles throughout. Flavor is lightly sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of malt, hops, citrus, orange, grain, and a hint of resin. Medium body. Sticky, then dry texture. Average carbonation. Malt, citrus, orange, hop finish is dry. 9.5%ABV is completely hidden throughout.

Golden orange with a soapy white head. Grass, orange peel, banana, and peach. A touch of wine and oak, lightly tart, and some sweet bready malt. The flavor is kind of all over the place, too. A light tartness, some sweet bread, citrus, and lots of fruit. Grass, peach, and floral notes. Not bad, but kind of odd. At least it’s better than a lot of the other kitchen sink beers. corby112 (2804) - philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 12, 2015
Pours a hazy dark blood orange color with tangerine edges and a 2.5 finger frothy white head that has excellent retention, only slowly fading into a lasting cap. Streaks and chunks of soapy lacing left behind.
Complex aroma with earthy and citrus hops, light fruit, pine needle, alcohol, oak barrel and spicy peppers. Toasted oak at first with hop oils and resinous pine notes. Slight chalky pepper presence with light fruit, citrus zest, pepper, damp wood and bready yeast.
Medium bodied with dry oak and sticky hop bitterness that lingers throughout. Earthy and resinous pine needle flavor with citrus fruit, pale malts, biscuit, caramel, dry oak and a subtle boozy barrel character. Slight dryness but sweet alcohol and fruit notes balance things out. Pepper presence lingers in the finish but isn’t noticeable otherwise. Decent but doesn’t really stand out other than having a strange combo of flavors. cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 1, 2012
Tap @ Odell. Golden appearance with a white head. Somewhat toasty malty, lemon citrusy, light honey aroma. A bit spicy, moderate honey, sweet malty, somewhat light bodied flavor. Kind of a weird combination of flavors. I got a touch of the peppers but not a whole lot. Sledutah (7534) - Utah, USA - JUN 10, 2012
