Bottle at The High WyCum tasting, Chez Bois, thanks to Bropey 05/11/16.
Hazed reddish orange with a decent light crimson cap.
Nose is pissy cherry skins, funk, wood must, light balsa.
Taste comprises puckering cherries, spice, straw, wood must, red berry funk, light fruit balsams.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow puckering edge.
Decent easy drinking sour, approachable stuff but not top draw. saxo (18868) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 20, 2011
Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark amber/red. Aroma and taste are rich cherries, brett, wood, vinegar and hops. mcberko (18068) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 10, 2014
750mL bottle, sent from mista (thanks a lot, Geoff), pours a fairly clear dark amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of sour cherries and raspberries, oak barrels, and wood. Flavour brings out both sour cherries and sour raspberries, oak barrels, and some wild yeast notes. Very tart fruity, with the oak quite prominent. Very well-made - the fruits are a little muted, but they’re well situated. Not overly sour, but very well-made. Great stuff. Oakes (17831) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 12, 2011
Had at GABF and loved it. But the bottle was only good. Dull, muddy reddish-brown with no head. The aroma is raspberry with light wood and light cherry. Smells fairly simple. Very fruity, almost jammy finish. chrisv10 (17722) - DENMARK - AUG 20, 2011
Bottle @ FOneFan. Hazy dark red with small pinkish head. Flavour is malt, cherries, little tart, little barnyard, wood, fruit, sour and vinegar.

Bottle. An unclear, brownish beer with a small, off-white head. More or less a rim of bubbles actually. Vinegarish aroma with berries. Lacks a bit on complexity. The flavor is much the same, although more berry sour than vinegarish. Dry, almost palate cleansing and maybe a bit hard on the carbonation. Overall, a decent one, but not impressive. 110820 jtclockwork (16690) - , New Jersey, USA - AUG 29, 2011
Bottle thanks to dionysus. Pours purplish raspberry tea. Nose/taste of cherry vinegar, sour raspberry, oak, dark chocolate and wild yeast. Body on the thinner side. Finishes with above average tartness. brokensail (16486) - Dublin, California, USA - APR 4, 2011
A: This beer is an incredibly vibrant red color with a minimal off-white head forming and dying away quickly.
S: Certainly smells kriek-like. Nice cherry aromas along with a mild funk, primarily of oak and grass. Some wet/dampness to the oak aromas. The cherries are a bit on the sweet side, but there is a nice acidity.
T: Semi-sweet/cherry pie-like, but there is a nice tartness which is fairly refreshing. Plenty of cherry flavor with only a minimal amount of funk. Still, some oak is there and helps to provide a bit of dryness.
M: Medium in body with a somewhat soft carbonation.
O: Solid beer overall, could have used a little more tartness, but it was good. Dedollewaitor (16174) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 20, 2011
Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Pours cloudy red with a small creamy pink head and lacings. Sweet cherries and a bit of barnyard. Funk with a minimal note of almond, wood and lots of cherries. Really fresh and fruity. Crisp and dry. Ferris (15901) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 23, 2014
Bottle - Tart berries and funky. Clear pinkish orange with a head that disappears quickly. Tart berries and and a really nice finish. Don’t get the barrels. Well done but a bit pricey.
