This brew is a clear reddish-amber color with a medium thin dense light beige head that recedes slowly. Small sticky patches of lacing. Aroma of funky fruit and yeast. Light to medium body with a moderately sour berry and cherry character, with some yeast and malt behind it. The finish is funky with a lingering sour cherry aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

UPDATED: FEB 10, 2015 "our batch was between 6.5-6.9%. multiple krieks blended, oaked, and raspberries added, so it’s a framboise kriek = friek. huh? get it get it? anyway, this beer is freaking amazing. the cherry, oak, and raspberry are in perfect harmony...you can smell and taste each clearly but none are too overpowering. the aroma is vibrant fruit with a lively mouthfeel. near mouth puckering tartness and sweetness from the fruit expertly balanced. I will buy this whenever i see it."
