Brewed and shared by thebitterendaz. Pours a dark brown color with a chocolate colored head. Aroma has rich coffee, sweet chocolate and a hint of roast. Lovely chocolate flavors up front, followed by a nice hint of coffee and dark roasted malt. Delicious and the alcohol is hidden so well! Great job Ian!
Brewed by thebitterendaz using coffee from Ground Control in Litchfield Park. Pour is dark brown with tan head that dissipates quickly. Nice aroma of roasted coffee. Great balanced flavor of coffee and chocolate, plus roasted malt. Using the rest of growler with Chocolate Stout Pub Cake mix! JPDurden24 (1675) - Chandler, Arizona, USA - AUG 19, 2013
A dark brown pour with a dark tan head. Flavors are coffee, chocolate and roast. Alcohol is barely present. Nice and tasty. swesson (470) - Highlands Ranch, Colorado, USA - JUN 16, 2013
Very flavorful coffee stout! Just the right amount of carbonation to give it a little bite, but not too much to rob the flavor. I like a bit more coffee (like a Great Divide Yeti Espresso, for example). Head is okay, but lacks the fullness if other stouts.

On tap at Whole Foods Chandler’s Watering Hole. Nice roasted coffee nose (but not overpowering) with biscuit. Pours very dark brown with a thin khaki head and no lacing. Excellent, balanced, fresh coffee flavor with baker’s chocolate, quite malty, and a touch of molasses. The coffee is just the right amount - not in your face nor understated. Medium body with a very clean texture. If I had to pick one coffee stout as a daily drinker, this would probably be it. thebitterendaz (35) - Alabama, USA - JUN 2, 2013
On tap at Ground Control. Poured into 8oz snifter. Dark brown to black in color. Coffee and chocolate really come out in the aroma. Chocolate overpowers the coffee at a chilled temperature while the coffee pops through as it warms up. Super smooth for 9.2%. Very reminiscent, if not better than, Speedway Stout I had earlier that day.

On tap at the brewery. Pour is deep brown, almost black with a small tan head and great lacing. Huge coffee, roasted malt, bready, somewhat earthy, light vanilla, and chocolate in the aroma. Taste is big dark chocolate, roasted espresso, vanilla, somewhat oaky, toasted malt, brown sugar and lightly grassy with a light roasted/bitter finish. Creamy body with soft carbonation. Exceptional use of coffee and not overdone, at all. Tasty stout!
